2026 WSOP Schedule ?
WSOP use to announce the schedule in December .
Than they came up with teaser announcement (Some populer events dates and ME dates ) and delayed full schedule.
Than they started announcing in early January .
Than they made a habit to delay and delay and delay... till player get frustrated.
Than they started announcing in early February !!.
Though the WSOP events starts in May of 2026 but players who wants to plan their trip and managed their job or business, is getting less and less advance time.
Hopefully this year, the announcement does not get further delayed .
I agree, but wouldn’t hold your breath. Seems to me it should be easy for all the decision makers to get together at the end of WSOP Paradise and nail this down to be able to release early in the new year, but as you say we’re having to wait longer and longer with no though given to help players needing to make travel arrangements and book time off work. They don’t even have full schedules yet for circuit events being played in February and March.
My odds on when the full schedule will drop this year:
Before the end of Jan: +400
Feb 1 - 14: +180
Feb 15 or later: -125

My guess is Monday Feb 16th for schedule release.

They’re really dropping the ball on this. The marketing seems incredibly poor. Yes, they’ll get the players who go regardless of when a schedule is released but the more lead time they give, the more others can consider it and sort out the logistics to come.
I usually get a bit of excitement in December but with no announcements, it just sort of….left.
And still no announcements, so nothing to look forward to or plan for other than speculation that it will be similar to last year.
I went from excited to feeling meh about the whole thing. If they’re not excited and eager to give me something to look forward to, why would I be excited to spend the money to go?
This delay is not good for their bottom line.
Doc, that's how I feel exactly. No doubt that's how a whole lot of us feel. With Vegas being on the skids in terms of visitor numbers you'd think they'd do something to promote the series. That Paradise series, which caters to the high roller crowd, has caused them to neglect or lose focus on the Vegas WSOP.

Last time they announced in December was In 2018 !!
Since than they keeps on pushing delaying till February.
I hope it’s at least in January !!!

But they used to announce the dates of the series as well as some of the more unique events in December. I think they may have a blurb on their website but no articles or anything about it.
It’s just really strange that they don’t seem to care much about building hype and excitement for the series this year.
my conspiracy theory: WSOP delays these more and more since they know they're the big dog. Since the other venues wait until WSOP releases their schedule before they figure out their own, this puts the other venues behind the 8 ball a bit.

If that’s true, organizers of WSOP management team is novice and unprofessional.
The reason ?
During the WSOP timeframe around over 100000 players comes to Las Vegas with only main intention to play WSOP events…..They will go and play anywhere else if there is not enough choice available at WSOP. And no one can stop them.
In last 35 years, I never met a single player who came to Las Vegas because of other casino offering some events and accidentally came across WSOP !

If the past announcement has any indication, mostly the schedule announcement is on 2nd or 3rd Wednesday or Friday in February.
Unless WSOP changes their practice of delaying and delaying until players get tired of waiting, I am hoping this year February 1st week Friday 6th !

Here we are again playing the waiting game trying to anticipate what the schedule will look like to plan flights/hotel. In regards to the Seniors Main Event, last year it started the day after Fathers Day June 16th. This year with Fathers day being a week later trying to guess if they will they keep it starting on June 15th or move it to the day after Fathers day (June 22nd) ?
The Senior almost can't move from D1A D1B being MONDAY June 15th, 16th unless they flip the Senior and Super Senior events. Not enough time before the Mini Main and Main event start to push things (the Senior) back to June 22nd and hold the Super Senior the week after. WSOP has been extremely consistent on "major" (large turn out) events scheduling the last Many years. In fact I can't recall the Senior ever being AFTER the Super Senior. Hotel prices are still elevated but a little bit better than they have been the last two months. Fathers day was IMO simply a coincidence last year.

WSOP ownership has changed.

There are more events every year during the WSOP summer in vegas.
There are more events year round at circuit stops, WSOP Europe, and now paradise.
The people in charge of the schedule have changed, or at least is not the exact same group of people.
Speculation.
With more events each year during the summer WSOP, more time is needed for planning. (don't they also need approval from gaming? that could definitely slow things down.).
It's very likely they get a lot more outside input from prominent players now than they did 10 years ago.
They probably go through more revisions than they used to.
We know the likely general timeframe, (probably 5/26-7/17), and know most of the major weekend event dates, Monster, Seniors, Main Event, Mystery bounty, Milly maker.
We could also speculate on a lot of the popular specific events, example, the $1500 Omaha H/L event is almost always Weds the first week, and the 10k is a few days later. Same for similar mixed events.
Not trying to be snarky at all, but I could probably get 75% of the dates of many events on the nose or within a day. The wild card are new events, first time events from last year, but they generally keep tournaments in similar timeframes as the year before.
Most of us plan around the big weekend events we like and then fill the schedule with what we like around it.
