thats the whole point of the discussion. you claimed if people show their state ID then they have nothing to worry about. she showed her state ID and was still detained and handcuffed. whatever happened afterwards has no bearing on if was at all reasonable that she was approached and detained in the first place.

also, that video is far from conclusive that she spit. and if she isnt charged with assault then there is no way she spit or did anything even remotely close to assault. cops in this country dont just drop charges for the plebs for no reason.

I rewatched the original interview (https://x.com/i/status/20132292049475544...) there were a lot more lies other them omitting here assault charges. claims she was hurt when tackled to the ground when arrested but the video shows the officers being quite gentle with her so an injury could not have happened at that point. Watch her interview and watch the full 4 minute video and tell me if you really think she can be trusted

When I joined the college Democrats I don't think there were 20 of us. Hardly anyone was talking about politics, believe it or not. Then at some point The Daily Show got super popular. Now you have random content creators who know nothing but they post their views on largescale structural political issues. I wonder how we got here. Well I can tell you why we don't like it. its gatekeeping. I have a small interest in it but have never read a book specific on it. so microbets here had to flex his superior knowledge about it by showing i never read a designated book. Im not trying to get a phd in anthropology why can't I just watch a couple youtube videos and learn about ancient hominids? Not everyone has time to dedicate huge parts of their life on a single obscure subject. some of us would rather learn a little bit about everything and never be an expert on one thing.
