I wouldn't trust the National Guard. Walz and Frey could call in city and state cops to arrest and jail ICE and BP and let the courts work it out while ICE agents are in jail.

I think it's pretty clear that there's going to be no agreements between left in right in this thread or in this country, until people make a real effort to get outside their respective media bubbles.
The right is just pushing nonsense and a line that "violent radical left agitators" are creating conditions where shootings of citizens can be justified. That's why this thread exists, correct? You should just shut up and comply.
The problem for me is, my media seems to cover these incidences fairly. I have some news sources that downplay some potential agitation that goes beyond most norms I've experienced first hand in my life (in these kinds of protest). But I find a huge reality gap between listening to far right news and far left news, and how they portray these incidences. I'm not sure how that's reconciled at all for people on the right, because they don't seem to want to understand another perspective here.
The crazy thing to me is, just like Jan 6th, Trump created the inevitable conditions that lead to people's deaths. And just like now, sending in massive amounts of ICE agents to blue cities, the inevitable killing and terrorizing was predictable. Trump will just walk away from both of these situations, claiming he had nothing to do w/ it... which is a level of sociopathy I can't quite fathom.
People justifying along w/ him, I think also need to reflect where they are on the sociopathy scale.
I hope no matter what, we consider moving forward, that a non-starter for ANY president (left, right, center, upside-down), should be someone who is pitting American's against fellow Americans. this is all madness on so many levels.

The spin on the right already is that he was armed (with a snowball)... but I guess he did have a gun. Video clearly shows they already took it away before shooting him though.
I saw the Fox new local live in real time as this happened right in front of their cameras. It was almost dystopian how they were talking about the whole situation. Once they realized what happened, they cut the feed. That footage is now removed from their site. At least I can't find it anymore.

You can't have it both ways, where 2a is foundational to the country then you execute people for utilizing their 2a right
And this is being generous and whole sale accepting that he did have a gun on him, which is questionable in itself
MN allows open carry, he was licensed. His gun was holstered the entire time until an ICE agent removed the gun from his holster and scurries away with it (you can see this in the video). He is then [strike]shot[/strike] executed while being pinned down a few moments later.

And I've seen multiple video angles now. He was armed, never even remotely went for his gun. They removed it after tackling him, and then shot him multiple times.

The craziest part id the agents aren't really doing anything needed. In the past presidents would understand the risks of these mass deployments. Obviously there is some bigotry of low expectations with Trump, modern ICE, the entire culture of supporters and nobody holds them to normal standards. But this is still just so unnecessary.
I seem to remember leftists being furious that ICE had a budget bigger than 95% of other countries militaries but sure go off on that nonsense repeatedly
