Would like to hear from Mohegan Sun players and employees.
I believe the increase in rake/promo drop is a big reason many players are migrating back to Foxwoods. On quite a few mornings in the past weeks the $2-5 NL game isn't starting until 11 or 12 whereas before the increase there was always at least one game right at 9 a.m.
The promo drop is increasing to $2 @ $20 all day, every day starting Feb 1.
Yeh, I noticed this yesterday but it was the 3x status day so I assumed it was related to that.
Pretty sure MS floor have worked out that it's better to take $2 all the time, which few notice, and run decent HH promos. on every Fri/Sat which every fish notices.
Silly question - I go to MS a few times a year. I always stay in the Earth Tower. WHERE IS THE PARKING GARAGE that is closest to that tower. The last few times I get stuck in the parking garage that is near the poker room.

The Winter Garage is your best bet. It is all the way behind the casino as you are driving up. From there, you enter the casino from behind where Chick-Fil-A is. It’s a little confusing but once you park there it will make sense.
Random question but does Mohegan usually offer special room rates for special tournament events? Wondering if they'll have rates for the spring fling 600 or not from someone that might know. Thanks

There's usually a promo. code for the multiday events. Never used it though, so no idea how much, and staying Fri/Sat nights are always expensive so would go somewhere else unless you have choice credits to burn.
Anyone ever play the 10am $165 tournament? i live two hours away do wondering when I'd get back home. Looks like late reg is 2 hours. How long after that do they usually go especially on a Monday.
Anyone know the tournament summer schedule? Just realized lots of their stuff isn't on pokeratlas. I know about the $400 multiflight in june, any other tournies of interest?

The next one after June probably isn't till august typically. They don't get as many players since a lot are in vegas for the summer series' going on everywhere. Foxwoods has a $400 starting next week with 7 day 1s though and it leads up to Mohegans 400 the following week so not a bad time to play some cheap tourneys here
