NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Will be the offseason, IMO. I think he lands with the Knicks.
Also, side note, Ryan Rollins on MIL is a ****ing baller.
if I'm the Pistons I want NONE of what Charlotte is dishing out if they are the #8 seed.
Spoiler
BUZZ BUZZ
Where is Giannis landing and when? This offseason or by trade deadline? If I'm Sam Presti I move JDub and iHart for him.. If you can pair SGA, Giannis, and Chet (Who is a PERFECT fit next to him as a stretch-5 who protects the rim) WITH their depth you absolutely have to do it. They
Thunder are an easy thanks but no thanks. Also Giannis wins 0 chips in the West.
Even after the Spurs ring this year, Presti isn’t going to panic lol.
I'd trade Scottie Barnes for Giannis.
And Chet for Giannis.
If I'm mil then I ain't settling for chump change like Butler+Kuminga for one of the best players in the league.

Butler and Kuminga are close to irrelevant. If you trade Giannis to GS, it would be for the picks and you would be committing to a full teardown/rebuild.
Maxey with a tough left handed layup for the winner.
Brandon Miller has been BALLIN
Jazz stomping no longer included, still at the top. 7-3 over the stretch and a 5 game winning streak.
Tough few games upcoming but at least some of them are at home. Would be nice to go 5-3 with Rockets x2/Spurs/ATL x2/DET/Cavs/Pelicans
I guess that I think Giannis ends up on the Warriors if he is moved before the deadline, but I just don't see the Bucks moving Giannis before the deadline. Yes, Giannis has a little more leverage and influence over where he ends up, but you also will have more teams in play.
Giannis could create a massive shitstorm to force a move by the deadline, but that isn't his personality, and I can't imagine that he prefers the Warriors enough to go scorched earth.
On balance, I guess that I expect him to get traded to the Heat in the offseason.
Today's NBA Fun Fact:
The Mavs finally retired Mark Aquirre's #24 jersey last night against the Hornets.
Cooper Flagg with his 49 point game broke the Mavs single game rookie record of 42 points held by Mark Aguirre. And tied Aquirre's career high of 49 points.
Cooper > Luka as a rookie.

I just don't believe in picks.
Yeah you can get lucky with an incompetent team like bkn/Bos but you might end up with like 3 10+ range picks.

The league consensus is that the Warriors' picks in the immediate post-Steph era will be lottery picks, and rightly or wrongly, many teams seem to value lottery picks more than you do.
Jokic is BACK tonight
Wemby who? Still rolling. Longest winning streak since 2016.
Diabate is so ****ing great to have on your team. He was the best player today IMO.
Love a good mid day ass kicking.
Diabate was awesome. He really played well. Every game he gets better. What a find by the FO.
