Mmmmm, I may have seen a couple of those tours.

love it...may be inspired later to do a similar thing if i remember after my head clears

Bob Dylan is coming to the big city of Abilene. (40 miles from my podunk town) My nephew who is a heck of a musician in his own right really wants me to go with him.

At the risk of getting put on ignore by Pokeraz, he's just never been my thing. I've been told to just go to a live show and I'll change my tune so I'm strongly considering it.

Also, when I went to his website and checked out his tour dates, they were all in small to medium size towns. The biggest city I saw was Detroit, but he was playing at the Masonic Lodge Theater. Is that always been his thing or is he just older and likes playing more intimate settings?

If I'm only going to see him once, maybe I go full on VIP.

I might go just to experience a phone free show. Damn that's annoying when all you see is people holding up phones during a show.

You won't like the musical performance. You probably won't even recognize half the tunes. You'll scarcely see Dylan.

But you will see the concert begin exactly on time. You'll see ICE-like troops in suits telling people to put their cell phones away.

You will see Dylan! It will be a different concert experience for you. Do it!

eta: ****! I just read about them taking your cell phones into custody. I guess they got tired of nagging and people recording with them anyway.

didn't have the patience for separate pictures and this is no where near all of them

was a pretty bonkers couple of years

summer started with the west coast swing of the first Lollapalooza, and that 10/27/91 Dead show in Oakland was just two days after Bill Graham died in the copter crash and the first time they performed since the accident. Bill's son spoke and Carlos and Gary Duncan showed up...brought all the old Haight heads out of the woodwork.

went to all four shows that week including all hallowed weed when Kesey showed up but apparently lost the proof of ticket stub blotter somehow in the process
for anyone curious

That was incredible

Here is me playing guitar on a small amp 11 years ago. I was not at the height of my powers, close, but I was I was in love.

Don't love the sound of the clean part, but once the distortion kicks in it is game on.

The Singers on Netflix is just an awesome way to spend 18mins. An amazing scene at a bar with tremendous music. 10/10!

Stumbled across this on the Webz yesterday. Ratdog (Weir/Wasserman) from Club Rio, Tempe Az 1991-01-24. No video, but the sound is crisp and clear. I was there.

10 years since Prince left us.

I've got other shiz going on in my life right now, so I wasn't really celebrating the high holiday this year. Previous years, however, are something different. Here's one from 2017 that I may have shared previously. Remember my tan bucket hat from the Bender Jamboree vid? I'm in this vid about 5 seconds in, walking towards the front in my hat and yellow shirt. Sweetwater 420 Fest from Atlanta...

4/20 was definitely more fun when I was younger and weed was illegal. Now, it's just the big discount day to stock up.
