I get the voter id thing, but why go after ranked choice voting in states that have adopted it?

This doesn't make sense to me on the surface. I guess Travis and Taylor could be PR, but the part about Matty Healy I don't get at all.

I'm less confused about why they are doing it than what their stated justification is - unless disenfranchisement has officially moved to the foreground of their platform.
The mistake you're making is thinking that Mark is somehow different than the rest of the Republican base where this thinking is commonplace.

All they care about is loyalty. It's the tribal/nazi level of human development. Lying or cheating doesn't matter.

Did you ever read Sex, Ecology, Spirituality? I'm more or less referring to ideas I got from Altitudes of Development in Ken Wilbur's AQAL (All Quadrants All Levels) theory. Tribal and Nazi are both in the magic/mythic echelon. Blut, volk, etc. They cannot manage multiple viewpoints simultaneously. Great book!
