Benny Binion TV series set; 'Yellowstone's' Hauser to star, Stallone to produce
Series will be an adaptation of the 2014 book Blood Aces: The Wild Ride of Benny Binion, the Texas Gangster Who Created Vegas Poker, by Doug J. Swanson. Cole Hauser is set to play Binion.
Blood Aces charts Binion’s rise from a Fort Worth, Texas, hustler to the ruthless, larger-than-life mastermind who redefined Vegas and the worlds of poker and rodeo.

I never met Benny Binion but I did have dinner once with Jack Binion where we talked a fair amount about his father. The discussion was fascinating. I look forward to the series.
Neither Jack nor Becky cooperated with Swanson but the other surviving daughter, Brenda (d 2022), did.
Excellent book though Jack & Becky’s perspectives were sorely missed; I imagine legal settlements played a role in their absences.
