I mean they just traded Street Clothes whose played 29 games in the last year. Granted the players likely won't see much playing time with the Mavericks. One has already been traded. The others are on expiring contracts. And they will probably buy out Kris Middleton.
The draft picks aren't great, but by trading AD they freed up 67 million in cap space for next year.

Cuban has little to nothing to do with day to day operations since he sold majority ownership to the Adelson family. The Mavericks have Co-GMs in Michael Finley and Matt Riccardi.
And Kyrie has been a model citizen since joining the Mavericks.
When Harden got traded from OKC to Houston they were all shocked.
They said they thought they would play together forever.

I don't think it matters. Kyrie has a long history of playing only when he feels like it and infuriating fans. But he doesn't really have a history of being a bad influence on teammates.
I'm surprised that an NBA player is allowed under the collective bargaining agreement to buy an equity interest in a prediction market like Kalshi. And assuming it is allowed, I'm surprised that Giannis is the guy who is doing it.

Edit: FWIW Frank Layden traded Adrian Dantley for being a bad influence on Mailman, thirty years later admitted it was a mistake. Might’ve said it and retired his number just to help get him in the HOF though.
