There used to be an animated show during the superbowl called Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV. It was claymation and featured famous people beating the **** out of each other in the ring Team America style.

I'm pretty sure he's looking for the Kid Rock show but didn't want to come out and say it.

The only halftime show I remember was the one I was lucky enough to attend (1997, Favre/White Packers > Tuna Patriots).

Blues Brothers (ugh, the second version), ZZ Top (ok), James Brown (great). The reason I remember it was that JB did a bit of Sex Machine. On a scissor lift.

Interestingly enough, Kid Rock has actually performed at the SB before. In 2004. With Diddy.
