[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread
This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is th
I will start by mentioning I have never played on this platform but one thing that has not been questioned is the belief that the bots are good for the game.
It is not really surprising to hear someone saying this when they are a winning player who crucially is experienced with exploiting them but your average rec and many other losing players and most are losing will not be happy with this and nor should they be.
Bots, RTA, Collusion and stables are diseases of poker and harm the game simple as that imo.
Does anyone else have trouble logging into iggy from time to time? I get the 'Oops something went wrong' red banner at the top.
I will try to limit my discussion of this here as it seems my experience in anti-bot play is not wanted/welcomed by the majority.
Bots are just like fish or regs in that they have specific preflop (especially) and post-flop tells that separate them from human players. You can write simple aliases in H2N4 to group players today. For example, I can make a group of every single player who has VPIP 50%+ in at least 20 hands. This could serve as a really basic (and really bad) fish "alias". Bots have 10-20 of these types of tells that can be used to create these types of "aliases" to get a larger sense of how they're playing as a group.

Completely agree with you, actually. I never meant to imply bots are "good" for the game. Their presence is only good for skilled regs. They are sucking the recreationals dry at a rate that is unsustainable. Lower level regulars are choosing other sites. Overall, they're slowly killing the site. Perhaps not that slowly, really.

Anyone know how long takes to they verified your account after successful on ID camera step and sending their ID and proof of address?
Took me less than 24 hours. They're usually pretty good about taking your money as quickly as possible, lol
Really??? Its been almost 2 weeks for me now. Send them passport not happy, next is driver licence, still not happy. now utility bills, still not happy. now it is been 3 days. support can not help at all. just tell me to wait.

That answer you got from the other poster is total bullcrap. He seems to be answering a whole bunch of posts now to overcompensate for recently getting owned in this thread.
Historically, in this thread there is no given timeline for getting documents validated. Period. The exact opposite of what the other poster told you. Additionally, Bonition seems to potentially use a banning strategy of asking the person to send document after document to get a complete identification of someone they want to keep banned from making future accounts. I'm not saying you did anything wrong and that is you. But there is a non-zero history of posts in this thread of this happen.
Short answer, there is no timeline for getting documents validated and the other poster is writing words out of his ass...again.
I’m in a stable with 20+ Ignition players. This isn’t a common issue for us, but, like any anything on the internet, the people who speak up are the ones with issues. No one will ever come to a site like Yelp, or 2+2, to say they had a normal sign-up experience. People with problems are the ones who find a place to post for help and that is bound to happen quite a bit in a 14 year old thread.
Like I said, my docs were all approved same day. n=1 though, of course. YMMV
Are you referring to Peter Falconer? He was banned on Ignition when he made $50k in a single month. It was actually a big deal in the community because a lot of people thought that it showed Ignition was somehow complicit with the bot ring:

More advertising. I'm done. I'll let the rest of you either report this clown scammer or let this thread get overrun.
And oh do I see yet another bot post by this poster even the Mike Haven already moved 14 posts out of this thread????

Yeah, that's right. It used to be 30sec+30sec for Cash, but they updated this as part of whatever "upgrade" they made to the client about a week ago.
In practice, I am getting significantly more hands per hour. Maybe 20-25%.
Rest assured everyone, there are no bots on Bodog. I told them I suspect bots are all over the HUSNG games, and they wouldn’t send my hand history manually (I can’t even click Cashier in the desktop application). What a joke of a site.
Not a surprising, support staff are badly trained on most sites and I have encountered staff who couldn't even understand the hand ranking system. That message was probably written by a bot anyway.
"Slick Willie," is the famous bank robber who reportedly said, "Because that's where the money is" when asked why he robbed banks.
Nobody robs banks anymore, but plenty will try to steal at online poker. The problem is that a charlatan moron is trying to turn this thread into his vending location saying, "bad bots are good" let me sell you a way to beat them.
I thought this discussion got moved yesterday, but the charlatan started it up again in less than 24 hours after everything got moved.
So I'm super confused. I thought Bodog was the parent company and that Bovada and Ignition were skins under that brand. Or do I have that wrong? If so what's changing?
Also, has anyone logged into the Bovada client recently? Their mtt schedule has been reduced to almost nothing. There's no $200k tomorrow and no $100k high roller. What's going on?
