What kind of 3bet range vs maniacal whales?
What kind of 3bet range do we want vs maniacal whales(high pfr no fold to 3bet button)?
If stacks are more shallow we 3bet and get in greater than 30% of stacks vs high pfr with no fold button. What ranges do we want to do it with?
AAxx is obvious, high cards like TJQA type hand seems good but what about no suits or 3 same suits type hand? is this still a 3bet? If we miss do we check/fold flops?
KKxx seems good as well? what about super trashy ones? just set mine?
TJQKds??
AKTTr? QQKJr?
or are these non suited stuff too trashy to even flat?
If we 3bet and only get 20~25% stacks in? range?
10~15%?
We 3bet tighter oop right?
Today I did some wild 3/4bets.
Live I was limping AQJThhh in utg
mp opens for 5(all the time)
mp+1 3bets to 22+(hyper aggro lag reg) ~ we've been finding lots of preflop spots vs him.
btn calls
We pop it back up to 96(maybe this was bad? we had 3 same suits?)
only mp+1 calls
Flop Q23r we jam for like 200, V folds
Then I come back home and play onlime 3bet trash like AJT7hhh vs some maniac, I find this to be losing play. Pot is bloated we often don't hit, we have no fold equity.
Hence this thread.
I find myself lost playing vs maniacs with high pfr. Just play normal game? I know some money is to be made from 3betting light vs them just not too sure. What's worse is that it often goes multiway not headsup(clubwpt gold).

It's been known for a long time that if they get more reckless pre, you don't necessarily gain most EV by starting blasting more wide than normal. Many of solver's hands are 3-bets (or 4-bets) only because villain should be folding something. Thus if villain doesn't fold, you will not gain EV with these hands but your value range gains a lot more value against these villain's i.e. you should be sticking to value hands.
I wouldn't be 3betting many rainbow hands and I would 3bet MORE oop.
Stuff like ds J-high rundowns play very well against random garbage and you should isolate loose openers. Of course if that 3bet never actually isolates the value goes down.
I think the AQJT hand is ok, though being triple suited is obviously bad.
Linear is the answer
Ignore the hands like AQQ7ss that forces folds from Kings if they never fold kings
