What can I do about my neighbor's smoke alarm making noise due to low battery?
It beeps every 30 seconds. Like a good apartment dweller, I listen to my media through headphones and I can still hear the beeping through it. Does anybody know what options are available to me to get the noise to stop? I live in a unit of an apartment building that has multiple units. I couldn't care less if this place burns down but the noise is so annoying.

Maybe it's an older person who is not capable of physically replacing the battery. Why not knock on their door like a good neighbour and offer to change it for them? At least that's what I would do, although if you are in the US there is that stand your ground law......
It's beeping because the battery is getting low. Either tell them / show them how to replace it or best option call management.
Are they black? It's a scientific fact that black folks can't hear the smoke detector beeping. I would grab a clipboard and throw a couple 9 volts in my pocket and go over there and pretend to be the Fire Department.

I'd kick his ass, he's clearly disrespecting you. You should go right over there and punch him in the crotch. Or maybe kick him in the crotch that might work better.
