A little bit of Bluff
You really shouldn’t show your bluffs.
In my experience, people advertising their bluffing end up losing every time. For instance, yesterday the guy beside me scolded his opponent and kinda went on a tirade about that’s the only way I can win is taking it away from someone. I ‘have to’ bet when I don’t have anything.
Couple orbits later, I’ve been tiptoeing through a hand with second pair multi-way because nobody seems to have much. Gets to the river with people checking and villain fires 85 into about 75 pot. I call, everyone folds and he has nothing and is pissed, ‘How could you call with second pair?
It was easy, the only way villain could win was a bluff, so he ‘had to’ bet with nothing.
Another example, a guy’s been showing several ridiculous bluffs and starts firing at me when I’m very strong. I’m not going to interfere and just keep letting him bet and calling him down. Huge pot gets to the river and I only have 45 left and check again.
He breaks down and says, I’m not going to give you anymore. Said but I can’t let you muck and he turned over a trash hand. He knew I would never show otherwise, so I gladly showed my hand and took a big pot.
I just don’t think you should ever show anything when you don’t have to. A sense of mystery goes way further than exposing your strategy.

Agreed, my image at the room where I play is that of a TAG. just the other day a guy at the table comments how every time I raise with an A an A hits the board & I win. He said that after I had raised PF & C-bet suited connectors that one hit. I didn't tell him I didn't have an Ace. Let him keep thinking that I have it & folding every time I bet.
