[extracted] New(?) 9-11 stuff

KSM got a plea deal. The guy who supposedly masterminded the 9/11 attacks is not getting the death penalty.

If you still

Yes, of course pool balls exist.

So, a pool has the form of a sphere, and pool balls exist. But spheres don't exist. Have I got this right? So, your issue is saying that something is as sphere as opposed to saying that something has the form of a sphere, correct?

Correct. The forms are immaterial blueprints.

I don't know. How does it?

Hint: it's not undersea cables.

What is the form of the sun?

I don't recall the Pythagoras theorem proof you said I used btw. What was this?

But undersea cables account for practically all internet traffic, incorrectly asserted earlier.

Probably something about the horizon. What is the form of the earth?

by d2_e4

What is the form of the sun?

Begging the question, assumes the Sun is an object.

Could be. As per Born's summary of Ptolemy, all that is needed to navigate is plane geometry.

I don't know what the form of the Earth is. Is Earth an object?

What is the Sun?

Exactly.

What is the Earth?

Bingo. You are learning, possibly.

Real bad sure... The vast majority of internet traffic is via under sea cables. What else you conspiritarding about?

Sent from my SM-A366B using Tapatalk

Saying that the vast majority are x doesn’t mean that y can’t follow a different pattern. And this pattern is really bad for you because you have to explain how people are using assumptions about a globe earth to put satellites into our orbit and magically those calculations work out.

by 1&onlybillyshears

Exactly.

The Sun is an "exactly"? What's that?

What's an assumption?

No that would be for you to explain how these assumptions support a globe model.

Coordinate systems are not problematic for anybody ofc.

Exactly the right question. Enlighten us.

Asking the right question is the first necessary step to advance.

You're the expert, I thought you were going to tell us! So, basically, you're telling us now that you don't know what the Sun and the Earth are, and whether they even have a form. I mean, that's not particularly interesting, is it? Is there anything you do know about these mysteries that you are able to share?

You thought wrong.

Sent from my SM-A366B using Tapatalk

They support a globe earth because the math and the mechanics of satellites assumes orbits, which assumes planetary rotation, which assumes a globe rotating in space. That these assumptions are not falsified a posteriori means that they are consistent. And since they are the type of thing that could be falsified in theory because they aren’t axiomatic assumptions, then that gives support to the globe theory.

None of these things have objective reality, they don't exist. Platonic philosophy 101.

Sent from my SM-A366B using Tapatalk

Do you exist?

If you do, do you know what solipsism is? It has psycho-social as well as philosophical implications.
