Why not have a rake race for every limit, instead of screwing over 3/4 of players?

Probably because unlike on GG, there aren't as many players. NL25 and NL50 are often more crowded then NL5 and 10. Hence they grouped them together, although I see your point.

I received an email from them just today. New software and new games (PLO6?) will be introduced 2nd of March.

The software is pretty damn good (apart from the colour coding and not being to filter lobby for specific limits). Hopefully they dont screw it up

For people that don't know what you're talking about, they are about to have a huge release on March 2nd per an email that was sent out:

New Software: More compatible and fully redesigned

New Games: More poker formats to choose from

New Features: Enhance games and your skill

New Rakeback: Unbelievable rewards for all

New Ambassadors: Big names join the team

CoinPoker does a lot of things right, but one thing they really need to fix is the obscene rake heads-up. It's even higher than on GGPoker, for christ's sake. Very discouraging to start new tables when you know that shorthanded is a rake trap.

6card plo and usdt rb would be sick.

Any mtts players here?

PLO HL... please. That'd be very good. This is a cool thing here. Their software is already the best. If I had one complaint, reg heavy PLO.

I pray that the new update includes PLO All-In or Fold that starts on flop like GG/Global Poker. It's a deceptively fun and beatable format. 😀

how are cash games?
mostly NL50, are games good?

They really should get a different promo than the 4 hour leaderboards that only appeal to mass tabling regs.

Hi Lo!

would be nice if they have changed the rakeback so you dont have to buy the CHP and just get it automatically

You don't need crypto anymore. You can deposit with credit/ debit card. I've deposited with my PayPal debit card twice. It does initially decline the transaction and send you a text asking whether you're trying to purchase or it's a scam, but once you say it's ok, it'll ask you to try again and it works fine. Now, to get rakeback, you do need to buy their special cryptocoin CHP.

So I started playing on Coin.
I bought $10 in CHP
My CHP is now gone and it says that I raked $28
At 33%, that's $9.24 in rakeback
At 31% $8.68

What am I missing here? It seems like their rakeback is actually rakeforward.

yeh I dont like the way they do rakeback either

I agree that the system is unnecessarily complex. Maybe they'll fix it in their upcoming update. But as for your question--if you only bought $10 in CHP, you only get rakeback on $10, regardless of how much you actually raked. So, come Monday, you'll get around $3.33 in rakeback, which I think is around 50 CHP or so.

If I'm not mistaken, I've already spent around $480 USD on "CHP" and generated about $920 USD in rake, or even less since at the beginning I didn't know I had to buy "CHP". So far, what's helping is the welcome bonus, but I don't know how this will become advantageous when the welcome bonus ends... the 33% rakeback figure doesn't add up in my view, considering that the welcome bonus is a "bonus" and doesn't count as rakeback.

I'd like to ask more experienced players, is it really necessary to keep buying CHP? I did some research and saw that having CHP also reduces the rake we pay at the table, is that true? I'd really like a simple and clearer explanation about this.

So I've heard All-In or fold is in fact, coming to coinpoker on the big update!

Does anyone happen to know:

1) Does this include PLO
2) If it does, is it flop start instead of pre (vastly superior and actually interesting)
3) Will the rake be competitive for the format
4) What is the starting stack size/is there auto top DOWN/is there a stack size cap

I doubt anyone has these details and I'll have to wait to see in a few days but really interested!

You have to buy CHP and then you'll get rakeback in CHP each week. If your current CHP balance is 0, you're not earning rakeback. As long as you have some CHP when you finish a session, you are earning rakeback, which is paid in CHP each Monday. So yes, you need to keep buying CHP. Just buy enough to cover the rake for your next session or two.

I receive a mail that say in March Coin offer 100% Rakeback... Is a little strange

Why?

Because sending crypto to gambling sites is against the terms and conditions on every exchange I use. You need to use a middle wallet not only to deposit but also to withdraw. You might not have been caught yet but eventually you will be and the exchange like coinbase or kraken will shut your account down

Does this also apply when using blockchain.com (only the wallet, not the exchange)?

Hi guys sorry I wasn't permitted to answer faster but will catch up now.

Rakeback will be paid in USDT both in March (2nd - 31st) and ongoing forever. So CHP will no longer be used. I'll share more info on what happens to CHP as soon as I'm able to.

Specifically it works like:

March 2 - 15: flat 100% percent rakeback, credited daily in USDT and fully withdrawable.

March 16 - 31: 100% of rake generated on the site goes into rewards such as Splash cash drop pots, cash game leaderboards, and more to be revealed very soon.

We'll be adding PLO6 and usdt rb yes

by 22underbluffed m

Does this also apply when using blockchain.com (only the wallet, not the exchange)

Their DeFi wallet is advertised as decentralized and non-custodial, some players do use the blockchain.com wallet and I haven't heard of any issues with it. So what applies to Coinbase shouldn't apply.

i think luxon/coin rivet has no problem moving funds to gambling sites.

any cash game players here?
what are best hours to play and how are the games - mostly NL50?

Qs to CoinPoker re: EV Cashout in new client

What are the fees of EV C/out in Plo5, Plo6, NLH?

Will result of EV C/out have impact on RB?

@Coin_poker are you able to give early information on what PLO all-in or fold is raked at in terms of %, cap, and I would really hope it's "no turn, no drop" given it is flop start
