it feels that since the jokic/SGA injury a couple months ago, everyone has been talking about the 65 game rule and debating who would then be the "unworthy" MVP when in fact the reality is the players/organizations are very much aware of exactly how many games they need to play and they will organize themselves to reach that milestone (e.g. see SGA's strategic absence during ASB)

there is only so few games left, it's going to take a huge slice of bad luck for either jokic/sga to miss out on it, they basically need to have an injury they absolutely cannot play through, that's why they have 90% of the combined equity on betting markets

so yeah : abolish the 65 game rule so we can stop the fake debates about jaylen brown becoming a MVP based on huge unlikely hypotheticals

A statistician was doing a study on Wilt, trying to get a feel for how many blocks he averaged by extrapolating from games he had on film. I just remember he had a bunch of over 10 games in the mix, and I think he was guessing 7.5 per game.
