[CoinPoker] - Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players
Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)
tysm @coin_poker.
can we use tracking software and a HUD?
100 % rakeback is enticing for sure. I'll only be at CoinPoker for the whole month of March then.
BTW - what happens with the CHP in my balance if you're switching to USDT rakeback?
I already know this, and I even mentioned in the text that I understand I need to buy CHP to receive rakeback, which is what I've been doing. However, I want to understand how the 33% calculation is reached, since, as mentioned in the text, I spent $450 buying CHP to generate $1000-$1200 in rake. Therefore, my rakeback would be $330-396. So, in the final calculation, it seems I'm spending more to buy CHP and receive rakeback than I'm actually receiving.
Finally, I didn't include the welcome bonus in the calculation, as it's a bonus and it expires at some point.
Are you aware that some of your CHP will get converted into USDT when you close a table? At least I think that's how it works. The whole thing is confusing as fuck though - I mean, I may be stupid but so are a lot of recs. I am glad CoinPoker is finally putting this whole CHP business to rest.
Woah, JNandez streamed the new client today. I am sorry to say that they have gotten rid of their fast, clean UI and instead gone all-in on some Temu GGPoker variant.
EDIT: Also like GGPoker, I assume that you can only use the inhouse HUD?
good news with the removal of the CHP
Will there ever be a "normal" flat rakeback?
Will there be no-ante 6max NL games?
Hi guys sorry I wasn't permitted to answer faster but will catch up now. Rakeback will be paid in USDT both in March (2nd - 31st) and ongoing forever. So CHP will no longer be used. I'll share more info on what happens to CHP as soon as I'm able to.Specifically it works like:March 2 - 15: flat 100% percent rakeback, credited daily in USDT and fully withdrawable.March 16 - 31: 1

Kind of an update post from yesterday.

Taking a quick look at the jnandez youtube has the graphics and updates look similar to GGPoker, but hopefully the small differences will be a game changer for online poker players. It would be nice to see the death of GGPoker and their pvi rakeback, lack of being able to turn off graphics (without a silly visible helmet), Coin back to 6 handed, etc. The future looks promising.

I thought the same, looks like a glorified mobile app. Anyone know if HUDs are being taken away?

Read my post above. The part you're probably missing is that you aren't paying rake IF you hold CHP. You pay rake during the session, and it is credited back to you when you end the session IF you hold sufficient CHP to cover the rake paid during that specific session.
If you do not have enough CHP, you do not get the rake credited back.
You can verify in the transactions section as each debit and credit is listed.
Mario's just tweeted Luxon is coming soon yes and etransfer as a withdrawal option too, he's answering lots of questions people have on X at the moment, if I see any info about the EV cashout @OldSurehand I'll share it here

Will we still earn our welcome bonus during the $0 rake promotion? I just signed up a few days ago, and have a lot to work through in very little time.

Active welcome bonuses will be paused but won't expire, you'll be able to clear it from April onwards, without needing to deposit again.
Players that have never activated a bonus, or who signup as a new player in March, will also be able to claim it from April onwards.
Although players that deposit during March will need to deposit again in April, as the bonus promotion is essentially on hold. In your case with an active bonus you won't need to though.
if you cashout - in March and April - will that interfere with the "100% rakeback and 150% deposit bonus" promos?
@coin_poker
This morning's email read "CHP will be converted into USD bonus". Seems a little unfair for those of us who just bought a couple buyins worth of CHP.
Essentially, we just paid 5% to give Coin Poker a loan. :/

Not in March as the welcome bonus offer is paused basically, let me check on April but there will be a new informational pages on our site by that point, shortly after launch we'll be updating everything.
The first new page is up about the migration, with some timings and FAQs https://x.com/CoinPoker_OFF/status/20277...
Will the new software update from the old client or do we need to delete the old software and redownload from the website?

Mario plans to give more of an official statement on this as our brand ambassador, we fully understand some CHP holders may be unhappy with this.
In my personal opinion - it's not quite 5%, as a player buying CHP themselves would incur several fees. To first buy Polygon, send to a wallet and swap on DEX, factoring in the price impact of the spread, then send back to Coin is several fees plus it's time consuming compared to an optional one-click buy in the client. Coin covers the fees and saves time. On major crypto exchanges for example there's often a 3% fee when buying in one click.
Many players bought CHP on DEX to get closer to 33% rb rather than 31.35% effective rb, which is very competitive in the industry, plus Coin is now giving back all rake to the playerpool in March, and discontinuing a $10M market cap token they hold a large part of the supply of, which most players have requested they do in order to give USDT rakeback from now on.
I do feel like 2+2 deserves a bit more of an in-depth response so that's my personal thoughts on it. Overall there are not many large holders of CHP out there as we have stated since December 2024 that we plan to phase it out, and it's it's been universally unpopular. Coin tended to recommend only buying the bare minimum and topping up when needed, and support did provide a one-time swap of CHP back to USDT for players that accidentally bought too much.

I appreciate you taking the time to lay out your thoughts. That said, the simple, fair fix here is to refund people who bought CHP from Coin over the last week and still hold that in their account.
It's not a meaningful amount of money in my case - but it definitely doesn't feel right that I purchased 2 buyins 2 days ago, directly through Coin - and am now being asked to work it off. I never would have done so had the information been made public sooner.
Even retailers will often issue a price match credit if you bought something and the next day it goes on sale.

By the same logic, will the leaderboard be paused during March? Will it be back?
