People who have been privileged into American democracy often don't "get it" and focus on the binary struggle of rich vs poor, white vs POC, etc... At some point, how much fun do you get out of hearing certain people on this forum say the same thing over and over on the daily?
Garry Kasparov, someone who actually actively works on promoting democracy and understands what it's like escaping authoritarianism under Putin, speaks very well about what's at stake, and how you won't always get everything you want on either side of the political isle, but democracy needs to always be the highest priority.
