What's the status of poker in A.C.? Pretty good, overall, I'ld say. In spite of all of the competition from Pennsylvan

The competition in the Atlantic City poker scene is indeed growing, but it also brings new opportunities for players. The latest plans for new poker rooms from Golden Nugget and Revel sound interesting. In the meantime, there are other options for online gaming enthusiasts, such as

I plan on heading to AC towards the end of March and bouncing between Borgata, Harrahs, and Tropicana.

Of the Caesar’s properties with Diamond lounges, which one has the best food? I thought I read that the Tropicana now only has a bar with snacks/chips. Harrahs and Caesars still have hot food, right? Is one better than the other?

Best bet imo is pop in where you are playing at the time you start to get hungry. If absolutely nothing for you, then hits boards or food courts. Or pop over to the other and play there.

Been awhile, years, for me but unless the 9/6 progressive JOB at Caesars was +EV or wanted to hit the boards, I would only leave the marina to go to Whitehouse. Trop poker doesn’t draw me.

I’m in the minority and I actually like Trop poker. It’s fun on a Friday/Saturday night with Boogie Nights going on next door. Also, I feel like their drink service is faster than other AC poker rooms.

I am not allowed to play at Borgata so I only play at the two Caesars rooms.

Harrah's has slightly better game selection and a few specialty games that appeal to me (I miss being in AC on Mondays for their 10/20 OE mix game) and you can sometimes choose between $1/2 and $1/3 (they play about the same but you get more tier and rewards credits at $1/3) but I am fine playing at the Trop.

You won't find any Hold Em above $1/3 though (maybe $2/5 runs sometimes, but it doesn't when I am around).

MGM employee?

More likely he got banned from the Borgata

You're not cool unless you've been banned by Borgata.

Haha, I was not banned. My license for my FT job in the online gaming world is through the Borgata.
I do not work there (they wouldn't know me from Adam) but that mere fact prohibits me from playing there.
