How many peace prizes does a guy need? However, maybe he's looking for chandlers for the ballroom?

In terms of global politics, blowing up an unarmed ship with a nuclear submarine after you just participated in naval exercises with that ship is much worse than murdering schoolchildren.

and being part of global sex trafficking ring, made up of elites praying on vulnerable teens

and about a million other things, so many things, I can't be bothered to list them all

Ice Barbie drank some bad plankton and splashed through a coffee table.

Don't forget about google search. Can't let that get away unscathed. smh

to the extent that it's already illegal to give professional advice if you are not a licensed professional, this is really more clarifying that Big Tech isn't immunized by creating a robot which does exactly that

if the robot gets licensed, I guess that's another matter

this is absolutely not true

once again you not only miss the point entirely but then just make stuff up along the way

you absolutely can do all of those things freely, it is not illegal for any lay person who is not a licensed professional to give advice on anything

including what is specifically mentioned there: medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering

if you want to make a business out of it then that's another matter, you can't just open a medical practice and see patients without a license, you can't take a fee to be a financial advisor without a license, etc etc

you absolutely can give your opinion on those issues to people regardless of the qualifications of the entity giving the opinion

chatgpt is not opening up a doctor's office - it's answering questions you ask about your rash that you'd likely ask a friend or search on google

as mark made a really good point, what are they going to do next, prevent you from google searching those subjects? are we going to imprison the people behind webmd? according to you they are all lawbreakers that belong in jail

mark correctly identified this as luddite panic and posted for the lols, you then made stuff up and tried to make it into a serious issue based on your lies

please stop posting - for real - this is embarrassing, or at least should be

You're out of line. Stop trying to get Ww to stop posting, it disturbs my Wa.

Criticize their posts.

i've given up trying to educate - just watch he's going to cite that in Sri Lanka it's illegal to recommend any stocks unless you're the crown prince and feel vindicated

this is usually me

just saw a video of trump at the oval office saying he was gonna build a stadium for UFC at the Whitehouse and 100k people would come.

I can't tell what is real video, or what is artificial. but like... does it even matter with trump? I mean he said "grab em by the pussy". he bombed a zillion countries. steals and lies and rapes and kills every which way.

I think he said he was like 6'4 and weighed 190 or whatever.. and had his doctors say that for his physical.

anything and everything comes out of his mouth

and apparently video of him farting in the oval from behind the desk.

erasing slavery from USA history

saying we can't afford sesame street, but a billion a day to bomb schoolgirls

just trying to keep my posts shorter than rickrolls cuz ain't nobody got time to read all that

Rick, assuming we are not talking about AI models that people pay for, and setting aside that you ignored my "to the extent that" opening caveat, I think you are confusing an "occupational permit" - to maintain an office space - with a "professional license" - to practice a profession.

Googling a code section or the definition of a disease is not the same thing as receiving advise on how to handle one of those things, nor do Google results (lists of links to sources not created by Google) involve summarization or analyses of the contents of those sources.

In fact, I recommend you google the New York code (though Sri Lanka's code may also be interesting) before you so assuredly claim to know so much about it. What you find might surprise you!

It seems odd that you don't want to be told not to cut down a tree without someone who knows what they're doing making sure you're doing it safely and without causing environmental harm, but you're fine telling people to stop saying things because you think they are wrong...

but if you don't like my posts, feel free to scroll past or even "ignore" me.

I'm fine with WW's post. It has a narrow point that handing unqualified advice to stupid people can have really bad outcomes.

Given that, I am okay with allowing people to do dumb stuff.

California has gotten its nickname "The Nanny State" because of the state agreeing with WW's comments.

I am okay with allowing people to do dumb stuff.

if there were infinite hospital facilities and enough care providers that triage ceased to be a thing, sure

the reality is that our systems get jammed up when people use them incorrectly, and the costs are usually not able to be borne solely by the incompetent

I could be totally wrong, but I'm guess that ca has way less regulations than countries like denmark

also CA is maybe the most desired state to live in the usa

i love you guys, but sometimes you just gotta tell them about the rabbits

be honest - not one of you disagrees with me, ww thinks he's dropping knowledge bombs here and it's honestly in best interest if he gains a little self awareness - i mean if this is how he acts with us, how must it be for him irl

we're doing him a disservice by ignoring it, this is the nanny state he wants, people stepping in and preventing him from committing self harm by continued "deep thought" posting

Rickroll,
I dislike you attacking people and not their ideas. I'm fine WW expressing his ideas. I actually love it.

Do you read what filthy posts? It doesn't get more fringe than that. And who doesn't enjoy them? Awesome.

My bet is that CA beats Denmark. And factoring cost of living, CA desirability drops below 50%

Amp lived here. He doesn't seem to want to move back any time soon.

Rick, how do you politically identify?

social libertarianwant government to provide essential services like roads, healthcare, utilities, and regulate industries do not want a military with offensive capabilities (scuttle our aircraft carriers), do not want government issuing movie ratings, or seat belt laws (but if you didn't wear a seatbelt you pay for your healthcare)that kin

Amp lived here. He doesn't seem to want to move back any time soon.

When I lived in Ventura County the unemployment rate was eighteen percent and one bedroom apartments were already fourteen hundred dollars twenty years ago.

Then my Navy sibling with whom I lived married a questionable person with three children.

So I came back to Ohio figuring I could get a good job and health insurance and stop sniffing gorilla glue and buy a weird house and get into mowing the lawn and woodworking. And thus have I done.

I must have forgot you lived in Ventura. I love Ventura! I'd move there if it wasn't for my gf needing to be in SD for now.

it's a really chill surfer vibe, awesome weather, no LA traffic

I remember pictures of your Ventura house slab all cut up.

Come on! Remember Amp getting rescued from a hiking trip gone bad?
