With the rake changes...whats it gonna be for HU tables?

5% 3bb cap type of thing or?

by Ice_W0lf m

Old CoinPoker rake based on two websites I found that listed the rake (the yellow cell is the one spot where the two websites differed) vs the rake changes currently listed on the CoinPoker website.

It looks like the heads up didn't change as much and the 3+. My guess is those heads up battles have had those high stakes players more have the ear of the person that wrote the changes. But the changes to 3+ look like the person doesn't even know the poker math to non-headsup and just stupidly did something like, "well I'll just raise the rake caps by 50% on most stakes." This is absurd, insane and clueless.

Hi, I’m new to this forum but I created an account just to talk about the new CoinPoker software, because honestly I think it needs to be discussed.

I don’t know if anyone from CoinPoker will actually read this, but it’s worth trying.

I’ve been playing online poker for many years and, to be honest, it’s quite worrying that in 2026 we still have to point out so many basic issues. This isn’t even a new poker room, so I really don’t understand what happened with this migration. It feels like the only thing that needed to be done was improve a few things from the previous software, while keeping the essential features that were already there, instead of spending time and money on things that don’t really matter to players.

I mainly play cash games, so I can’t speak about other formats, but I imagine a lot of people are feeling a similar level of frustration.

I started playing on CoinPoker some time ago and, even though the old software looked a bit outdated and simple, it worked perfectly and had everything you needed (things that poker rooms have had for more than 20 years and that are now missing). When the migration was announced I was actually excited because CoinPoker seemed to be doing things right, and I assumed the new software would be a big improvement.

So far the only positives I see are that they added more game formats, removed rake through CHP, and the tables are now 6-max. But apart from that, even if it looks more modern on the surface, in practice it feels very poorly designed. It honestly gives the impression that the people who designed or programmed it have never played online poker before and simply tried to copy GG Poker. It also feels like very little effort was made to have actual players test the software before releasing it (at least for cash games).

I’ll mention some of the things that seem quite serious to me in terms of missing or badly implemented features. Some of these may have already been mentioned and I’m sure I’ll forget others, but here’s my list.

General / lobby issues

- If you close the app without logging out manually, when you open it again you’re automatically logged in. That’s pretty insecure. At the very least users should have the option to choose this.

- The fact that hand histories are not even being provided is honestly shocking (especially since they were before). They’re not only essential for studying your own game or reviewing opponents, but also for helping detect any kind of fraudulent activity.

- You can’t access table settings from the lobby (and the table settings themselves need a lot of improvement).

- That dropdown with winnings, leaderboards, career, etc. feels completely unnecessary. And the Showdown Meter… I’d rather not comment on the fact that development time was spent on that.

- PokerIntel seems like it was made with good intentions and it’s currently the only thing available to review anything, but it definitely needs improvement. For example, the EV chart only lets me scroll up to 999 hands.

- The table list is honestly terrible. You can’t see table names (so how am I supposed to know which table I was playing on or which one I opened?), you can’t filter regular tables which are the most commonly played ones, and it shows avg stack which is not very useful instead of more relevant stats like % players/flop or avg pot. It would also help to be able to sort tables somehow. And you can’t join a waiting list from the lobby either.

At the table / in-game

- No auto wait for BB.

- No sit out / leave next BB option.

- The notes popup works very poorly. You can’t properly delete characters and sometimes it deletes everything at once.

- When raising postflop the only buttons available are 2x, 3x and 4x... It should be based on % of the pot or at least be configurable.

- The HUD is actually an improvement, but it doesn’t show the number of hands played and it probably mixes data from HU tables, which makes the stats unreliable.

- Those notifications when you win a big pot or a strong hand should be optional and removable.

- When you join a waiting list, the software asks for your buy-in immediately, when it should only do that once a seat is actually available. What if you no longer want to play that table? It doesn’t make sense that it seats you automatically without even notifying you properly.

Finally, I’d also like to mention the CHP that players had before the migration. In my case I have around 8k CHP, which isn’t much, but I imagine some players have significantly more. The fact that we can’t convert them until April feels a bit strange, especially considering the coin has been losing value in recent days. Everyone can draw their own conclusions from that.

It would also be good to get some clarification about HUDs. A year ago they were allowed, so it wouldn’t make much sense to ban them again now. The only major site that really bans HUDs is GG, and even there it’s widely known that people still use them anyway.

Anyway, I really hope CoinPoker takes player feedback seriously because the room still has a lot of potential. But right now it honestly feels like the software has taken a step backwards in several basic areas that should already be standard in any poker client.

Just got an email from support saying that they can no longer send out hand histories manually. At first they blamed a technical issue, but now I guess it's official policy. My gut feeling tells me that they want to make it basically impossible for players to see just how much they pay in rake. That would explain why reps have been dodging the question re: if they plan to make hand histories available for download.

^ We are planning to give more information on that asap thanks for your patience while we're dealing with the migration to a whole new software platform. Yes we've sent out an email too.

When PT4 admin reached out to coinpoker a few days ago they said they are doing something to the hands in an update and gave a two week estimate. With this change you won't need a converter with PT4 any more.

is anyone else’s balance showing zero..

People are pressing quick join looking for 6max tables, and getting seated at heads up tables

Where are the options to customize bet sizes?

Also not a fan of new changes

by Cubeblue m

The same goes for me at 4 and 5 cards.
Doesn't show the cards of my opponents who lost their hand.

For the rest yes super slow to open the cashier etc

I don't think they've shown opponents mucked hole cards historically.

My issue was that the replayer didn't show MY hole cards.

Support still has not responded about either the hand issue or the CHP issue.

I get excited to get action only to have them leave after one hand :(

Exactly my thoughts. What was needed was an evolution, not a revolution. Yesterday I checked the latest iPoker software (I used to play there 11-13 years ago) - it looks almost exactly how I wished CoinPoker should look like. It's absolutely beautiful, very esthetically pleasing, but still functional, a lot of useful settings, yet still is not too far from the classic poker you all know and love. A really, really good mix of both worlds. That's how it should be done.

It's not entirely new, it's a copy of P0ker B.aazi, an Indian poker site, lol. That explains why it has been deployed to production with tons of bugs. Anyone who has any experience with these guys professionally knows that most of them (not all, but majority) don't really pay attention to details, but well... apparently the cheap price works wonders.

First depo offered 50% RB. CHP also covered 50% of your rake and brought it back to your account. You could argue that bonus is doing exactly the same.

There are a few differences though.

1. When buying CHP, I knew I will have to play 2x the amount in order to fully convert my CHP into USDT (not taking weekly RB into account)

2. I agreed for the above on the previous software. Not on the new one. It's like leasing a high-end car, then bringing it for a longer maintenance and getting a low-end car as a replacement, while still being forced to pay monthly for a high-end car. That is not what I agreed for.

3. There was an option to withdraw CHP alone and trade it on the market

4. I could also transfer CHP with other players. Useful when you wanted to leave the site or buy CHP cheaper. I actually bought some CHP from a guy that was leaving and thought I will have enough for 2-3 weeks of playing, not knowing what kind of dire future is ahead of me

Now all of that is gone they force you to unlock your money at a 33% RB rate ($0.33 bonus released per each $1.00 = unofficial info sent from support to one of the players). I am not even sure if I want to come back for my money. If they want it, go ahead and take it, but you will never earn any rake of me. So good job CoinPoker, you have just earned yourself free ~~ $170, I don't think there is any merit in coming back for that money, especially when the RNG no longer seems to be what it was previously, i.e. you can expect GGPoker type of stuff, tons of cooler, suckouts and what not.

Imagine you do last minute changes, don't inform the players, release buggy software, ban HUD, take advantage of the situation, false advertise 100% RB in the 2nd half of the month, put people's money on hold and then lock it behind a bonus - does that sound like someone who puts players first?

The CHP thing is pretty troubling.

Assume I purchased $100 of CHP the day before the release
I would have paid $5 in fees
The $95 remaining is now locked away for a month (some time value of money - not huge)
I now have to play through at 8-10% rake (at micros) and pay $7.6 - $9.5 additional (assuming 1x play through I believe?)
If it's 3x play through - that's $22.8 - $28.5
Let's assume I get 33% of that back - I've paid $15 - $19 total rake to get my funds back

So essentially, for trusting Coin Poker - I'm being charged 20 - 25% AND having my funds locked up for a month?

This is unacceptable.

I'm happy to play your PLO6 Turbo Double Board Bomb Pot rake traps for the next 1.5 weeks while there is 100% rakeback - but there's no chance I continue to play if I can't trust you not to hold my funds hostage and refuse to respond when I contact support.

It would be pretty nice if card sorting works in 6c plo when its turned on (or off)

Regarding the CHP part please email support.com and they can perform a manual conversion to USDT they have done this in the past for players. The unlock of the bonus is going to be exactly equivalent to how CHP would've been traded away during play anyway, had you been holding it. As you know before the new software migration, it essentially worked as a rakeback discount, it was 'traded way' automatically by being used to pay rake, and slowly left your account. The bonus is set up to work in exactly the same way in April.

by MatiKosa m

ban HUD

This is not correct. We haven't made a statement on HUDs either way. We are evaluating this and gathering feedback from players. Many players would be happy for us to do this, we can't please everyone. At the moment we haven't though.

Re: bugs we are working around the clock to fix these. Even representatives of other sites have acknowledged that we've been fixing issues, for example - https://x.com/sp1rospoker/status/2029288...

by D33P m

it would be great if new depositors in march could also get the deposit bonus starting in april.
otherwise they are left off one of the best promotions...

They can, although it will be triggered by their first April deposit.

Hi! I send a mail with the hand and number of the hand, I haven't received a response yet. But yes, my user name is vVLADv, and the hand id number: 184342939

Thanks

Had a really weird bug 3 times now where after I open the client some buttons on my mouse and keyboard start doing different functions (like double clicking doesn't open an app, or right click on mouse by accident causes me to bet because it's now the enter button and also can't press enter on keyboard anymore). Has caused me to lose money multiple times misclicking across multiple sites. Has only ever happened after I open the Coin Poker client and restarting PC fixes the issue. Is this just me? I don't use jurojin or any programs changing button function.

Why the hell CoinPoker force me to post BB on free position, out of line, when i first sit on the table ??? Is this normal ???

When i learned Poker it says that it is most dumb thing you can ever do in poker !!!
How the hell did you turn on this option by default ??? IT SHOULD BE TURN OFF by default.

It is the same as - if in the hand you time runs out - you will press a CALL option instead of FOLD !
Are you serious about that ???

You greed is enormous !!! It is even more the GG Poker witch was the most greedy poker operator ever, but before YOU right now !

Why did you remove button SitOutFromNextBB ??? To screw up a Multitabling ??? But you even dont provide a Hotkeys for comfortable multitabling...

And now you want to still our BBs like a small frauds !!! Disgusting

@Coinpoker, if you want and can, why the decision to transform the Coinpoker client into one very similar, almost identical, to the GG Poker client?
In my opinion, wouldn't it have been better to keep the old client, with a few improvements, and stick with a product very different from what the market offers today?
Less is more.

I was trying to deposit to check out the site and the only deposit bonus available is "Casino Welcome Bonus 150% up to $2000". Is it possible to clear it on poker games? I opened an account a few months ago but never deposited. Does it mean my poker deposit bonus is gone? Can I create a new account to receive a deposit bonus?

because theyre offering rake free for march they removed the first deposit bonus for the poker, iirc they said it would be available from april onwards so you will have to wait until then to get it
