USA Goes to War Against Iran
Time for a dedicated thread to the war.
How long will it last and what will be the probable outcome?
If the Iranians can keep the strait of Hormuz closed it will be bad news. The Chinese guy mentions it’s all mountains around there on the Iranian side where the army can dig in. It could be hard to rout those guys out of there.
Can’t see the US putting boots on the ground - would they be able afford it with the nearly $40 trillion debt pile?
Feels like it’s gonna be hard to put this one back in the box now they’ve decapitated Irans head of state.
Did you listen to it all and he gets into some conspiracy theories with the Illuminati and Free Masons and ???
You mean the part he mentioned about a ruling class of pedophiles? Because after that was proven true, the rest doesn't seem so far-fetched.
The school was hit 3 separate times, so obviously the building was targeted. What I'm pushing back on is you essentially arguing that they knew it was a school when they drew a bullβs eye around the building.I think the most likely explanation is bad intel, or more apt, a lack of it, in that no one could say it wasn't a school. For that to be false, the only thing I can imagine
Cool. So how many defense analysts in the world say it was an intelligence failure and how many say it was an intentional civilian target? Why doesn't historical data carry any weight with you?
If itβs true that the building has been a school for 10 years then there should probably be an investigation into why there was such a massive intelligence failure. I wouldnβt hold your breath though.
Yeah, we'll get right on that after domestic terrorists Pretti and Good's homicides are investigated.
And you think our primary goal in the ME is peace, based on the preponderance of evidence we've provided over the last few decades? Now that we're out of the kiddie pool...I think this is top-level national security, not just for the US but for the entire West. Not that it's proof, but it just seems like opposition votes, either internally or among our allies coincidentally com
Or... this is just Israel taking advantage of weak leadership in America to get what he just admitted he's wanted for 40 years.
Ok, so in Iran's column it looks like we have:-a willingness to let their civilians die-a willingness to attack countries that wanted to stay out of the war, bringing them into war against them-a Chinese guy who is into Illuminati conspiracy theories that has a lot of confidence-an assumption that Trump will behave like other US Presidents have post ww2-an assumption that the o
Don't forget about a single ICBM that was targeted by 11 interceptors that missed.
Are we going to bomb sri Lanka now?
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) — Sri Lanka transferred more than 200 sailors from an Iranian naval vessel to shore Friday after it sought assistance while anchored outside the country’s waters, as tensions mounted in the Indian Ocean following the sinkiWhen this all escalates into definitive WWIII, I wonder who MAGA will blame? Probably Hamas.
Still thinking with munitions and Trump's lifespan dwindling and Trump wanting to always be the talk of the town (so long as it excludes him and a 13yo), he's really itching to nuke something.

.
I haven't heard anyone saying it was intentional outside of you. Nearest to your position are those saying that it's basically reckless disregard for civilian lives, which as I've said could be the case.
When this all escalates into definitive WWIII, I wonder who MAGA will blame? Probably Hamas.

It will be a big beautiful bomb, the likes of which nobody has seen.
What are the actual details of the hospital/medical site attacks? Where they actual bombings like the case of the school or were they just hit by shrapnel/in the vicinity of a bombing?

I looked but outside of the school didn't find any mentions of direct impacts. A couple from the two big hospitals did say collateral or near enough but most just reported on the injuries or deaths.
So, let's say Israel and us pound down iran and hezbollah. What exactly is achieved? Long lasting peace? There's now young generations of iranians, Lebanese, gazams etc. that have grown up getting bombed. They are growing up to love Israel?
This just doesn't seem like it does anything but prolong middle east hostilities for generations.
Do you think there is ever gonna be a time when these people donβt hate Israel?
What will be achieved is making it more difficult for these terrorist nations to create instability in the region. In doing so it will create opportunities for normalization of relationships amongst middle Eastern nations. This is good for business which is good for the world.

I don’t think there’s any chance of this escalating into WW3 because Iran has 0 allies willing to intervene.
A long, drawn out conflict maybe but do you really think Russia and China are going to go to war with the US over Iran?
It is crazy that Hamas wanting to murder rape a bunch of Israelis ended up leading to the fall of Khamenei.
This is to kelhus .Trump is pretty hated by a lot of people, but how do you think the American people would react if another country killed him, then kept bombing us? I seriously doubt many would be dancing in the streets. My guess is we would fight to the death as a nation. So, how do you figure the lebanese and Iranians are going to just thank us for all we did for them when
It should be obvious that there would be some carryover if Iran killed Trump and asked for Ali to be president and thinking everyone would be cool with it compared to if we killed Ali and ended up frustrated when they didnt want our Buttigeig running the show.
What will be achieved is making it more difficult for these terrorist nations to create instability in the region.
Iran hasn't invaded anybody for three hundred years. What's the score for your team?
AI:
Last Conventional Invasion: Some historical perspectives point to Nader Shahβs invasion of the Mughal Empire (India) in 1736.

Both are already helping Iran, so we shall see.

This is on Trump. Like Bibi said the other day, this is what he has wanted for 40 years. He finally found a US president that was malleable enough to do what no other US president was willing to do.
Any doubt that "if Iran killed Trump" we insta declare war on Iran? Not me. That Iran hasn't even declared war on the US and Israel speaks volumes as to what they see as a best outcome. Additionally, I'm sure they have resources to pull off some sort of terrorist attack in the US, which even if it's one of their proxies would end up with the US declaring war on Iran.
That's the last thing the regime wants because then the terms shift from stop building nukes and sponsoring terrorist proxies to unconditional surrender. And based on my sense of things in Iran, I doubt the Iranian people would too excited about that either.
Nothing it has done remotely holds a candle to the full-scale invasions conducted by the US and Israel. Where's the genocide?
The US and Israel are more concerned with what they may do in the future if unchecked. Iran was in the process of producing more ballistic missiles than what the US or Israel could shoot down. If allowed to produce these missiles, the Iranians would create a great deterrence to any attacks. This would allow them time to pursue their nuclear ambitions. We are seeing now Iran firing indiscriminate rocket attacks throughout the gulf states. This is exactly why this terrorist nation should never have nuclear weapons.
Nothing it has done remotely holds a candle to the full-scale invasions conducted by the US and Israel. Where's the genocide?
That they haven't done anything remotely of that scale is only because they don't have the military might to do so. If they did, they would have killed all the Israelis first chance they got.
The US and Israel are more concerned with what they may do in the future if unchecked.
are they worried that Iran will blow up a school full of girls?
Both are already helping Iran, so we shall see.

Sure and Iran had been steadily building up a ring of proxy terrorist cells surrounding Israel who were all exposed and severely weakened during the Gaza war. Imo itβs hard to deny that this recent escalation wasnβt influenced by Iranβs current weakened position.
You mean they might commit genocide like in Gaza? There's absolutely no precedent for Iran doing that.
They have a big and effective army, they fought off Saddam. They haven't invaded ANYBODY.
Their assistance to Hezbollah is to maintain a deterrent against the terrorist rogue state of Israel.
You should be more worried about what your own country will do in the future. Bomb more elementary schools? Iran hasn't done that.
