How is this not a smoke c-bet for either 100 or an all in .
conitnue the show of strength that the preflop bet reflects.
i know the board is paired but preflop when you were plotting this out on your whiteboard other than flopping AJ what were you dreaming of ... a nut flush draw.
you hit it bet it like you are grateful otherwise you are making the poker gods cry......

You have to cbet this. I don't think allin is optimal, because it looks more like a draw and we want him to call the flop and fold the turn. It is a huge gain if he folds the turn with 66-TT getting 2-1 and a little over a 2-1 favorite. He could shove with a pp, but he has to worry he is less than 10% against a big pp. I don't mind cbetting smaller either, but I agree with about 100.
Once the flop is checked through and the turn bricks, you should not be giving up. You are still about 2-1 against a pair. Think you probably have to check, because you may not have the odds to bet/gii now.

my first instinct was 100 i think you are right 100 is more formidable than the shove .
odds are that gets the 7s8s 9s and maybe 10s to fold although it would be hard for some of those especially 10s not to 3 bet pre.

Forget imaginary gods. Instead, just imagine charlie carrell screaming in your ear. "What is my opponent's range? And what am I going to do about it?"
Big pairs seem unlikely given the pre-flop flat. Though some people just don't have a 4-bet range. Villain can have *some* big pairs. He has all the middle and low pairs. He can have flush draws, straight draws, and a bunch of unpaired crap. Those are the categories.
Big pairs and straight draws are probably the smallest part of his range. We block a huge number of his potential flush draw combos. So really the meatiest part of his range is gonna be the middle pairs 77-TT. Those hands are beating us, so we want them to fold. If we bet, they'll call. We need something more powerful than a simple bet, like a check/raise.
If villain won't cooperate, then we're happy to draw for free.
Same logic applies on the turn as well.

77-TT is not folding to a 2/3 pot-size bet
Why would anyone do that?

This may be the first post I've ever seen from this poster that isn't a complete troll. FWIW, I agree with (almost) every word.
i like b-b-j line myself. force him to have a hand that can call 3 streets. 50 flop, leaves 254 in pot and 280 behind, 80 turn and jam river. he will have quite the decision with a hand like 77-99. i dont think its a solver approved line but it works exceptionally well against opps who call too much with weak hands. If hes active he will call very wide pre and on this flop. if you bet flop you have to bet turn. i like small better than jamming because he can find folds on the river that he will talk himself into calling turn jam with.
B-b-j seems reasonable, and it is how you might play QQ+.
