Put it this way if you knew that Russ Hamilton was the majority shareholder how trusting would you be? Howard Lederer? Annie Duke? Mike Postle?

Yes they have an impressive roster of high integrity pros like Pads but he doesn’t own the site and isn’t personally guaranteeing your funds.

Why is it such a secret and why is it a problem to know - I’m really only interested because I love business generally and am always intrigued about who the entrepreneurs are behind clever ideas but clearly this is for security purposes too if I’m to trust it with my money.

The Tony G ownership was a pull to the site, he def sold it as isn’t involved and it was rumoured ‘samjazzykins’ is the new owner. No idea if that’s true.

Having an Anjouran license is literally meaningless you can buy them in a day.

I can't disagree with the sentiment, but I can certainly understand why some people in some countries don't want their names associated with and their personal freedom ruined by their ownership of an unregulated offshore poker site.

Obviously, it should go without saying that if you don't trust a site for whatever reason, then do not play there.

I do not disagree, it would be nice to know who the owners are. I believe it’s a venture backed operation. So they probably have long and short term investors. Unless it’s past that point and someone or some company has bought them out. The lack of transparency in this area makes me trust them less. Even they said Farther Xmas owned it, I still wouldn’t trust that ****er!!!

how does the site know how much to put for leaderboard without considering that there's different volume everyday?

if day 1 1million hands were played, and day 2 300k hands were played, surely the leaderboard reward needs to be a changing amount for 100% rb to be paid. But i'm sure that the leaderboard will be a fixed amount, a fixed amount which they calculated to be wayyyy lower than 100% rb.

it sounds like there will be ZERO fixed RB. Had it been the old 33% it wouldn't have been this crazy

Why have you not got a proper respected license. Is it because of the crypto aspect where certain countries will not license crypto or coin poker will not or can not comply with the stricter KYC/AML conditions set by UKGC for example.

The venture backed thing from the other poster is a little moot, I saw the same site stating this - but no big name VC fund is gonna be investing in an offshore unregulated poker site based in Panama, it just means they raised (or said they raised a round), which they probably did but it wouldn’t be a traditional VC fund as you know it.

Also to be giving away 100% rake back for a month is quite insane and likely costing a fortune so there’s clearly serious money behind it - again I’m super intrigued from a business POV who’s in charge.

Are English and German both official languages on CoinPoker? I've been noticing chats in both languages, with more German in higher stakes and English in lower stakes.

Where are you seeing this? The above is what was on their website earlier today and the below is the slight change to show the dollar amount put into leader boards. But if you don't get much or any leader board money, then good luck with the absurdly high rake and insane rake caps.

Why does "on top" mean? do we get 100% rb and LB award at the same time?

Anyone else that was playing Coinpoker well before this months promotion had their account frozen and asked for ID. I've supplied ID and my account remains frozen almost a week later.

Im not sure this is correct for all. I was on it for many months, never been asked upto this point.

Can you get them to fix the table popping up issue?

Previous client ensures that only 1 table pops up at a time when it needs your action and only when u are done with the action does the next table needing ur action pop up. that was a very good feature. right now it just pops up once even when you are in the middle of another table action making it very messy and easy to lose track of tables needing ur action when multi tabling.
