Gus Hansen accusing SallyWoo of using O8 program
So according to Gus SallyWoo is cheating..............

After viewing the Gus Hansen Run It Once podcast yesterday, I felt I'd finally create an account to discuss his remarks. At the 39:32 timestamp, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUVLk8-A..., Gus expressed his strong belief 99% certainty that he was cheated in O8 games against Sallywoo, Cottonseed, and KPR. I recall railing these games on Full Tilt and sensing something didn't seem right. Interestingly, just days prior, Patrik Antonius had voiced similar concerns and abruptly stopped playing. A month ago, I had a conversation with friends about these games, and we collectively concluded that cheating was likely involved. What struck me was how swiftly the issue was brushed aside. I also remember when Polarizing sat with Gus & Sallywoo, the latter quickly sat out, if a program was being used it wouldn't have been programmed for 3 handed outcomes.
A brief search revealed that in 2010, Sallywoo, under the username on 2+2, had inquired about Razz programs, https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45/ge..., hinting at a potential interest in building a Razz program. Following Gus's departure from these games, all three players seemingly vanished into thin air from online poker and have rarely been seen in the live game environment. While it's possible they simply sought new new adventures and enjoyed all the Gus money on a private beach somewhere.
What is more concerning is how this was never reviewed by Stars/full Tilt at the time & just brushed off with Gus is a fish. It really was the perfect Russ Hamilton type hustle.
P/s it's kind of hypocritical on the Tom Dwan (he's deluded btw of his own self importance in the world) podcast (Mikey RIO host) talked about creating a program that alerted Galfond, Dang Bros and Dwan to when Gus was logged online. He left out telling Gus about this & him being the creator of the bum hunt scripts in 2007-2009. Very wise on Galfond to never mention that would ruin his good guy reputution. Online poker really was the wild west even back then. I can't imagine what it's like now in 2026...
My 2 cents for what it's worth no doubt I'll get some hate with it being my 1st post...
"Id finally create an account here?"
So who are you?
Insidor, can you describe the type of cheating that took place? All three of those guys were limit Holdem end bosses that were around for a long time. I assumed they developed/acquired a solver that only they had access to, used it for heads up play, crushed Hansen and whoever else then moved on.
That is clearly not cheating but Hansen and Antonius need to say it is to protect their egos, Hansen even said at the time he thinks they had an advanced program and wanted some loss rebates. They both were full tilt pros, they must have asked security and got nothing conclusive back.
KPR is a financial advisor shill in Atlanta, Sallywoo is probably old enough to collect social security by now and surely has to be retired or close to it, no clue on Cottonseed. KPR was even posting here recently promoting his services, if he was cheating I’m guessing he wouldn’t post here.

depending on the terms of the site it could have been blatant cheating.

"Beyond the statistics and trends, there is a darker, more complex factor that must be acknowledged. Information circulating in the betting underworld of Cleveland suggests this game may be viewed as an "opportunity" by certain parties.
According to a sourceβa former employee of a legal Cleveland casino who maintains contacts with investment groups interested in "alternative sports betting markets"βa significant amount of "smart money" has been placed on the Over 158.5 for this specific matchup. This source claims that a group with deep ties to Northern Ohio placed well over a million dollars on the Over, broken down into hundreds of smaller bets across legal sportsbooks in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan to avoid detection.
The source's information is fragmentary, pieced together from conversations within this milieu, but points to a few key observations:
The Trigger: The real interest from this group began immediately after UMass's stunning upset of Miami (OH) . Until that moment, UMass was not on their radar. But that win opened up the bracket and created a perceived "opportunity" for the quarterfinal matchup with Toledo. The bets were placed quickly, reacting to the new landscape.
The Focus: Leroy Blyden Jr. According to the source, whispers in betting circles ..."

Just dropped an analysis for today's NHL matchup.
Stars-owned Fulltilt circa 2013? No way was it against TOS to use it in between hands or to study after matches, maybe in active hands.
But then it is cheater v cheater because it’s likely the German limit Holdem players were right and the top Full tilt pros like Ivey/Antonius/Hansen had access to full hand histories including all hole cards after games to study.

More info please.
Of course there's a chance that happened. I have never heard before.
