A loose passive is loose passive

So is a calling station.
Loose = Many hands
Passive = calling

Calling Station = Calling with many hands.

I need you to explain the difference please.

A loose passive is loose passive and will fold to a bet on the flop w/ an 8 or worse; a calling station will call with an 8 or worse on the flop.

So a loose passive is someone who calls with top pair, second pair, and draws. A calling station calls with all those hands plus bottom pair. Do I have that right??

You're more delusional than @docvail.

If I'm being generous, 8x is maybe 40 combos out of a limp/call range that's somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 hands.

So the loose passive has 360 hands, and the station has 400.

Tell me how that's affecting your decision to c-bet?

If she is a calling station, we 100% want to bet the flop and evaluate the turn. If she is a loose passive, we 100% want to bet the flop and evaluate the turn.

According to your delusional, made-up, contrarian nonsense, this villain is a loose-passive and not a calling station. According to your silly rules, the "loose-passive" will fold 8x, which is the only part of her range we're beating.

So why are we betting?

Is it possible you've just desperately grasped at straws too many times in this thread just for the sake of arguing with me and have now backed yourself into a logical contradiction you can't get out of?? Wanna just admit you're hysterical and end this now?

a poker player who always recommends to check/fold

Who are you talking about?
