[CoinPoker] - Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players
Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)
ooh ooh ooh can i have 100 dollars also! i mean unlike the others i dont think i have any right or complaint to demand compensation here but if youre feeling generous Sir! :-)

I trust Coin and the bugs are easy fixes, once those are resolved the site will be great. Anonymous owners is normal in crypto gambling, Rollbit has anons that own it. One of the biggest crypto betting platforms out there. Coin also made a proof of reserves report before, showing player funds are segregated.

Coin gave away $3k on X today, and $30k on YouTube last week (one thing they definitely do well is generous giveaways).

The amount of money CoinPoker has been giving away lately is pretty unprecedented.
Theyβre obviously not doing it purely out of generosity and will expect to make it back through rake over time, but itβs still nowhere near as shady or predatory as a lot of what passes as the status quo in the online or live gambling space.
Wow am I reading that correctly. You had us buy chp and now your not even reimbursing us with a coin you wanted us to purchase for rakeback? That is very shady.
This will be announced soon - thanks for your patience. We're taking the time to consult all our partners and pro players to find out what they think is the best overall model for the site, for both regs and recs.
GazzyB123 for example tweeted that he's confident everyone will be happy with it https://x.com/GazzyB1233/status/20288697...
You pay gazzy B, Ofcourse he is going to say this. He also doesn’t pay rake. Shambles of a site.
I have emailed support 3
Times and not had a response. I want my chp transferred to my wallet. I am not having someone hold my
Token that is mine and make me release it with a bonus. Username is downiewolf. Thanks

The bonus will unlock at 33% rakeback, $0.33 per $1 raked, you receive the same value, a bit more actually as it was 31.35% effective before with chp, the fee to buy it has been reimbursed. Having chp was like owning a discount voucher on the rake, you were already locked into holding it and clearing it like a bonus. It couldnβt be sold or traded on exchanges as liquidity was removed in Nov 2024, it wasnβt an asset in that sense and you were informed it would be phased out. The complaints were constant about chp, most players on Discord are happy itβs now gone and find this solution fair and equitable.
Just to make this fully clear for everyone:The rakeback itself still remains 100% until March 31.But the CoinRaces leaderboard prizes are not on top of that 100%.They already clarified it with this example:if you generate $100 in rakebackand win $50 from CoinRacesthen your next rakeback payment will only be $50So the leaderboard prizes are being deducted from the same 100% rake
Honestly, at the end of the month, the ideal thing to do is look for a new poker room. I think the idea of ββthe big companies is really to displease the professionals, and it's almost pathetic. But I avoided GG Poker precisely because it involves a lot of promotions that mask our win rate through rakeback and other invisible prizes, and Coinpoker is taking the same path. Anyway, the software is excellent and runs very well, but these new ideas from the marketing team are once again ruining the site. I confess that the action yesterday was very good, but the rake seems higher than ever. I played about half an hour of heads-up against a player, and he ended up with no chips, but in the score, both of us lost money.

I play professionally on all the sites. Coin will be fine, the traffic is up as Mario tweeted and lots of pros replied positively to the changes:
As far as rake is concerned I would have thought all professionals are only interested in net rake. Unless you are privy to their future plans at the end of the month, then we currently don't know what the net rake will be, and therefore what's our best move at the end of the month. I would rather pay 20bb/100 in rake and get 100% rb, like I am on coin atm. Then play on another site which charges tiny rake, say 1bb/100 with no rakeback.
It's been generally accepted for years that recs and VIP's are pretty insensitive to rake and don't really understand the impact it has on their results. But they probably do like seeing a cash 'bonus' land in their account on a daily or regular basis. So it would seem that a strategy of high rake with high rakeback is probably a good one for operators to implement to keep most of the player pool happy.

What I like to do is open up several different poker clients at the same time and table select play the best one or two tables per poker client. There is no way that I am going to qualify for any leaderboard money playing so few tables on a given poker client. On a low rake poker site, I do just fine not getting much in terms of rewards. But Coin Poker's bonkers new rake str
Myself as an example. And you can change the example, but most cash game recreationals are not leaderboard participants...not even close.

Your post is at least somewhat off. Coin has made us privy to bits of information. And people are speaking up now to get this turd sandwich fixed before the horse are out of the barn.

I appreciate what your saying in that its fine (in my opinion) that come april we can play it through and withdraw, thats not an issue for me. But as late as this year i withdrew chp and converted to actual cash via metamask so the fact that doing this was blocked by coin does seem a touch off and doesnt match your comment wrt Nov 2024 as we were not locked into holding it at all.

In early February CHP withdrawals and deposits were removed from the client, you may have done it just before that, fair point, although selling on MetaMask was only possible in very small amounts at a time - paying gas fees and MetaMask's fees every time - as there was a high price impact with the low liquidity otherwise. Selling in the client was removed in September 2024.
Thanks for acknowledging that overall this is not an issue for you. There haven't been many complaints. Five posters here that were unhappy have now received a goodwill credit as well.

Wait! So you are saying instead of being polite i shouldve complained and got free money!? damn it! i did this wrong! lol
Anyone else feel like they arent getting 100% since the leaderboards started?
Im roughly 50% short of where i estimate i should be for today
Ahhh i initially thought exactly that, but then i considered leaderboards but even taking that into account im def not at 100% as promised. ill make more notes tonight/in morning to ensure im not just wrong on this matter (im pretty certain theres an issue as it stands)
