Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards

Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?

I have read about it in the past, just curious.

They have a 10x promo May 25-30 this year.

Does the 10x count for WSOP buy ins? If I register for the $550 mini mystery milly during those dates, would I get tier credits for spending $5500?

i've found penn comps to be the best

Do you have to play all 50 lines on those machines? $25 minimum a spin at 1 coin or 5 coin?

I believe you can split it however you want as long as it's $25 or more a pop.

So at $1 credits, 5 credits a line, you're doing a minimum of 5 lines. At $0.50 credits, 5 credits a line that's a minimum of 10 lines. I've never tried betting less than 5 credits a line, so I couldn't say whether or not you could do $0.50 credits, 1 credit per line, 50 lines. It's not something that I would do for Jacks or Better.

Those machines used to have quarter credits at 9/6 and no minimum, which was nice because you essentially needed 2 or more royals to trigger a handpay.

No go? Worth asking.

So does any live poker count for the multiplier or strictly machines/table games?

I think it used to, the regular hourly tc you earned. But I think awhile back Diesel getting upset that they no longer honored poker hours for the multiplier. IIRC they posted a sign near the cashier saying that certain types of play no longer qualified for the multiplier, but I can't remember what. If your search-fu is strong you might find it itt.

My search-fu is below young grasshopper level so unlikely to succeed in that quest. I’ll just take your word for it. I didn’t think they would but a buddy wanted me to ask and find out.

could be different other places but promo rules for Florida in the website say

Not valid on Poker, Electronic Table Games & Simulcast.

I'm pretty sure it's always said no poker, but if you mix in some vp or slot play they actually count the poker too, probably because their software is too janky to differentiate.

The Row in Reno is how they refer to the combination of Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus

Ah, thx. I haven't been in Reno in over 15 years.

I had an email exchange with WSOP help , Caesar's help a couple years ago about tier credits earned for WSOP buy ins but damned if I can find the email reply .............. It wasn't at all what I had expected , after asking them very specifically about $1,000 buy in event they basically told me they did not know how many or even IF I would earn tier Credit points for the entry. Now I may have just got a lazy or dumb support contact person (Some our absolutely outstanding incredibly thorough, responsive, etc and others are dumb as a box of rocks) but I'd suggest you email them about tier credits for WSOP entries just so you can hold their feet to the fire if they tell you something and it doesn't happen.

It's almost impossible to find anyone who knows what tier credits you get for WSOP buy ins, but if I recall correctly the one informative email reply provided equated to about one tier credits for every dollar of rake. Slightly less for higher buy in events

I think this is fairly accurate. Looking at some info I captured last year (to the degree one can get accurate info even on their own tier points breakdowns), they awarded just under .9 TC/rake dollar for the $600 and $777 events. So I imagine something in the $1 range is about as good an estimate as one can expect .

With Caesars running a bunch of 10x tier credit multipliers lately at different casinos, it made me think of MGM. Does MGM ever do something similar?

I just matched my Caesars Plus to MGM Gold but it’s only Golf for a few months if I don’t earn a boatload of tier credits (75k or so).

They run some. Not like the CET 10x and have only ever seen them in LV. Wife routinely uses them to maintain Platinum.

The MGM tier match aren’t really much

Does anyone definitively know if live poker play tier credits are included in the Caesars 5x and 10x multipliers? Vegas is having a 5x multiplier right now.

It's not supposed to be. However, I the past, players have gotten it by playing VP first and then playing poker. The software was not smart enough to not include poker in the multiplier. UT if you play poker only, you don't get it.

No idea if this exploit still exists or not.

Oh, that's right, I had forgotten that. I'll try it because I'm going to play for a freeroll anyway, so I need to put in another 7 hours.

FYI - I found out basically by accident that Venetian will match tiers, CET Diamond to Venetian Ruby. Ruby is an awesome level - free parking and no resort fees, $100 annual food credit $150 annual flight credit, etc. Geez, I might actually be able to stay there on occasion!

I NEVER went in that place because I wasn't about to pay for parking. You can park at TI and schlep over, but I don't want to do that on a regular basis.

you’re the [emoji238][emoji238] unc

any other status matches available for seven star members (or other tiers)?

Wynn also does one, but I haven't gotten it yet because I don't foresee staying there anytime soon.

MGM matches also, but theirs is temporary. If you don't accumulate the points for that level within X months, your status reverts back.

I should check Boyd's too, because they have some offbeat benefits.

Per reddit, the Venetian match also expires after 3 months if you don't amass the requisite points

Hmm, the gal at the desk didn't mention that.

I don’t think MGM mentioned it when wife matched years ago. But it was spelled out very clearly in the mgm match flyer she was given.
