Renting a private poker room table

Renting a private poker room table

Is it possible to rent (by the hour) a private poker room/table in a casino in Las Vegas for a private game?
I cannot seem to find any information, rates, etc. on how to do this would be very helpful.

I think your best shot could be South Point. The biggest reason is they'll have the dealers to spare. While I have no info at all about this, I know they would probably open a table if it's full to start. Also the games will have to be games that are normally spread in a casino. Like you can't create some new game and have them deal it.

Give them a call. They have spread uncommon games before like 20-40 stud or omaha/8 and bigger games like 10-25 NL. So at worst, you could open a full 5-10 plo for example rather easily but it would be subject to the board, meaning it's an open game for anyone to get on the list and be seated in your game. But if no one leaves until you all leave at once, it'll work basically as a private game.

Venetian will do it too, for a cash game or a tournament. Check their website.

One way to do this for free (except normal rake) is to set up a weird blind structure and fill the table. Since it is being spread by the room, technically anyone could play, but if you have a whole table-full from your group, no problem, as the wait list never advances. We did this at MGM Grand a couple of times with a $1/$1 game and had a blast donking it up with a bunch of 2+2ers there for a meetup, filling two tables.

As we whooped and hollered, ordering drinks by the trayfull and pulling all sorts of shenanigans, the wait list quickly got like 14 deep, but only one guy got seated late at night after the heartiest folks consolidated down to one table with a seat available for a rando. It apparently didn't go too well for him, but he reportedly fit in and had fun. (Qualifiers there because I was not one of the heartiest folks and left as part of the first wave.)

Thanks guys. I want it to be in a private room/area as there will be a high profile player and we would prefer to keep the game private.
