RIP Alan Bostick
A few days ago a long time 2+2 poster, Alan Bostick, died on a flight to the Irish poker open. He was a popular and longtime poster here, someone us old 2+2ers have interacted with on and off many times over the years.
He accumulated over 12,000 posts here - https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/membe...
Alan was of the older poker generation, but was always enthusiastic about staying up to date with poker study, online poker, even streaming on twitch. A great inspiration for all of us to continue with our passions as we get older. RIP Alan.

I still remember playing with Alan at the Oaks when I was basically first learning the game. RIP.
Sad to hear. I did not know Alan personally, but I met him back in the early 2000's in Vegas playing cards at the Wynn. We were seated next to each other in a 10/20 NL game and struck up a friendly conversation. We ended up hanging out for a few days that resulted in a few wild stories that are not fit for this forum lol. He was more passionate about sports betting than poker back then. RIP.
Never met him, but instantly recognized the name from numerous interactions in the DIAD thread. So sorry to hear and condolences to his family and friends.
Great poster, very sad news.
RIP
Condolences to his family and friends, RIP.

Met Alan the one time I visited The Oaks. He was very kind to this internet stranger. Enjoyed his posting and, indeed, his desire to learn and share his poker pursuits. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace.
Im shocked.
He was so passionate about poker and it felt like he had so much more planned for his poker career. Very sad.
RIP Alan
Alan was definitely a HOFer 2+2 poster!
This news is much sadder than Sklansky going the way of all flesh..
Never knew him but saw and read many of his posts over the years on here.
Condolences to his family and friends. Rest easy Mr. Bostick.
Never knew him, but he actually had just replied to a post of mine like a couple weeks ago, very sad so sudden.
Sad to hear, rest in peace.
it seems like he lived a very rich and fulfilling life outside of poker - there's a lot of people talking online about his passing
here is one of them
