BB vs BTN 4 8
V is a OWG retired dealer in a wheelchair, somewhat aggressive in going after perceived orphan pots but has not gotten out of line in a few hours I've seen.
Folds to me OTB I see A6o and raise, SB folds, V in BB 3!. I call.
Flop comes A84r. V bets, I raise, he calls.
Turn is T full RB. V checks, I bet, he CRs.

This is 4-8 so V's range is probably something like JJ+, AK. Given that, I can't think of one hand I'd want to raise the flop with A6o. He's not folding a better A and if you're ahead you want him to keep barrelling. Simple call down and maybe bet the river if checked to.
HELL, I MIGHT FOLD AK PREFLOP IN THAT SPOT LMAO......U DONT WANT TO BE PLAYING HU AT A 4/8 TABLE!!!!!! RAKE COMES INTO PLAY. AND YOU CAN GET SO MUCH BETTER ODDS ON UR MONEY N OTHER SPOTS...
Flop raise is really bad. I would call down on most runouts (you can probably fold river if it comes K Q or something) and bet if checked to.
As played, I would fold the turn. You are almost certainly drawing dead.
I agree with fold preflop. Itβs the second worst ace and rake is hell at 4/8.
Yea, I usually fold here unless much stronger, been trying to play more marginal hands in this spot, which comes up rarely at 4/8. Probably a terrible idea with the rake. Assume you all have an opening range here or do you just hate the rake tax(at 4/8) and muck everything?
Poorly played all around by me. I called down and was shown ATo.
Definitely not folding everything but this is firmly in the fold camp for me.
