USA Goes to War Against Iran

Time for a dedicated thread to the war.

How long will it last and what will be the probable outcome?

Well, looks like taking control of Kharg Island is off the table.

He’s so allergic to polling drops that he would rather commit massive war crimes than do a boots on the ground invasion.

This is how you do it. Be brutal. Starve the regime. The people will rise up.

None of this will happen obviously. It sounds like there is obviously an agreement in place. What’s left of the Iranian govt can say they saved their country from complete destruction.

It looks like my Israel trip is back on.

I don’t think the people will rise up if you destroy their desalinization plants. If anything, Iran may do a tit for tat and bomb other country’s desalinization plants in response. Do you think the US is the only one capable of committing war crimes?

Yeah a win win like that makes the most sense, if making sense makes sense.

If it's a war crime the generals aren't going to do it. They've probably spent the last week or so explaing that to him. Maybe they have a few power plants that are clearly dual civilian / military use, though.

But at least he's committing to an end to this mess, one way or another.

There you go. Jared probably made the whole 'new regime' negotiation thing up. The actual regime is like WTF?

Not sure the bold is true. There may be some that object, but maybe others don’t. It’s hard to say what’s going on with the military right now. Maybe some of them are happy to be unleashed.

And there aren’t any dual use desalinization plants which is why I focused on that point specifically.

Interesting development but totally expected if you have a few working brain cells. Obviously Israel is only one of a large group of parties who have an interest in weakening Iran. But sure the Jews are kind controlling the entire world.

I thought it was mass murder for philo-semitism?

It's wild that your supporting evidence for this is a Trump quote. Just wild.

You really didn't vote for this guy? You sure?

You probably actually believe this. You must, as you can't both be a bootlicker and think they bombed a school, or bombed boats with civilians in them without due process, or any of the other war crimes committed so far.

I'm sure you'll be saying this six months from now, oblivious to having learned nothing yet again.

That's Borat. You fell for some AI slop, did ya?

Those are the same things bc you know Jews love money.

so do whites. not that theres really any difference.

Yeah just the AmeriIsraeli rape empire.

So the GOP is considering making more cuts to healthcare to fund the war. That's America 1st for you, eh?

Oh, I know... it's anti-Semitic to want America to take care of Americans before they take care of other countries.

Yeah, I don't see it going on that long. Per that tweet he's basically moved the goal posts from15 points to 1: open the straight.

I suspect our bombers are on the way in a big way. Compared to what we're capable of doing, the regime's defenses are really exposed along the coast since they don't have civilians to hide behind. I'm thinking there won't be much left of their toll booth, either.

At an approval rate for the conflict at under 30% at the beginning of the conflict, the only way this "doesn't last that long" is if after Trump puts the military into the meatgrinder and the young bodies pile up, you warmongers will realize that this isn't Call of Duty and his approval numbers will dwindle down to the teens and he will exit and claim victory and nothing will have been accomplished besides billionaires making more money and new terrorists for generations being born in the Middle East.

Looks like Trump has gone from 15 to 0:

Trump Tells Aides He’s Willing to End War Without Reopening Hormuz
Administration officials assess that forcing the waterway back open would mean extending the military mission

WASHINGTONβ€”President Trump told aides he’s willing to end the U.S. military campaign against Iran even if the Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed, administration officials said, likely extending Tehran’s firm grip on the waterway and leaving a complex operation to reopen it for a later date.

In recent days, Trump and his aides assessed that a mission to pry open the chokepoint would push the conflict beyond his timeline of four to six weeks. He decided that the U.S. should achieve its main goals of hobbling Iran’s navy and its missile stocks and wind down current hostilities while pressuring Tehran diplomatically to resume the free flow of trade. If that fails, Washington would press allies in Europe and the Gulf to take the lead on reopening the strait, the officials said.

Let’s get the European powers militarily involved in the Middle East after wildly entering into a war without consulting them or the international community. What could possibly go wrong?

Wow

my president

The hard part is done, lmao. Perfect words for bootlickers like John and Doyle to regurgitate, though.

"I took a **** on the floor, the hard part is done. Now you clean it up."
