Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream
I like it. Burned through 4 episodes last night. I'm sure it gets even better once it's gine from NBC.
I watched Southland week to week when it aired. Can't remember a single thing about it? Except that I liked it. Maybe I should do a rewatch? Gotta be better than most new stuff!
rewatching the office now, it's funny, the first time i saw it was late as well (it was already off the air) but it felt contemporary
now it feels incredibly dated - but in a good and nostalgic way
I quite like DTF St. Louis so far, 4 of 7 episodes are available
no i didn't even know that existed
been watching on one of those pay $50 for a year of every channel/movie/tv show in existence type package that you sideload into a firestick and run with a vpn - is amazing unless it's a foreign language thing because then there isn't often english subtitles - or when you watch a film that has parts in another language that often has subs like when the elves speak in lord of the rings, they just show you nothing
will definitely look to see if there's a superfan version of it and if they got it watch that going forward
Honestly, not sure if you should.
Superfan episodes have a handful of funny extras, but it mostly makes you appreciate the editing/pacing of the original show. The overall tone is also quite different in the Superfan eps, featuring a lot more caricature over character.
I actually really enjoy the superfan episodes, but maybe that's because I'm a literal superfan.
If you have an episode you really like, maybe watch the original version first and then watch the superfan version if you can get it, and see if the added footage makes it any better for you.
Watched 1st of 4 seasons of Trying on Apple and it’s quality. British comedy with heart about a couple trying to adopt. In the direction of Starstruck and Fleabag.
started watching Ted (the show) on Peacock last night, and it is ****ing hilarious. Better than both movies for sure.

I need to learn how to do that. I'm paying for every service like a sucker and buying a new Apple TV every couple years when the planned obsolecence bugs kick in.

You can just ask an AI to go through reddit posts that explain how to setup "debrid" and for like 6$ per month you can have your own netflix in 4k with everything.
or you can just use eztv and rarbg with torrents on plex.
Personally i started paying for everything except disney. It's more conveniant and if people don't pay, we get worse quality shows.
I use subtitles and high quality movies through plex often **** up midway because of the heavy load of subtitles anyways.

There are a few stinker episodes mixed in, but it is a fun watch. First episode of S2 was pretty bad, but the next one was one of the best of the series and the third episode was good too.
Watched "Mercy" today. As middle of the road, exactly what you expect as it gets. I realize now that I don't like the last 10 years of Chris Pratt.
Watching Southland based entirely on this forums rec. Through about 6 episodes. As a Boondocks fan, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Regina King is in it. Not bad so far - though certainly a different category than something like The Wire. I'm interested to see how the tone changes in S2.
Regina King runs like Cheetah, if you haven't seen it yet, its impressive. lol
April is Sydney Sweeney month!
1st Housemaids on Starz
10th Christy on Max
12th Season 3 of Euphoria with only fans page, I might have to do a rewatch of the first 2 seasons.
Don't forget about her as the E.T. in the sequel. Plenty of chicks have big tits with busted faces.

I started watching it too, I see it as a less hardcore The Shield.
I haven't checked out The Shield - but @goofyballer used to claim it was better than The Wire.
Season 2 of Southland seems to be finding it's legs through episode 3 or 4. "You Can't Save Everyone" I think was the name of the episode - and it's the first time I felt like they successfully conveyed a point outside of a linear narritive. I've enjoyed the show to this point, and am hoping that the writers continue to develop the tone.
Love The Shield. Would be a GOAT show if you cut some of the filler episodes.
Still worth going through them for the best ending of a show imo.
I really wish I watched that show live. Probably more so than any other show.
Spoiler
Shane’s final bit is one thing but the confession scene is a once in a lifetime kind of thing.
It’s not high on my list of favorites for the same reason, but it’s high on show endings.
The Shield is probably top 5 for me. I think I've watched it all the way through 3 times.
misplaced or late April Fool's tweet?
