AK pressure-cooked
1/3, 8
Hero (780) card dead about an hour+ trying not to squander earlier success
MP (500) just sat down, but a reg I know that doesnβt get out of line.
BB (625) unknown, but interesting: looks like a tourist, but Iβm wondering if he could be a traveling pro as his game seems air-tight
Hero is UTG with AsKd and opens 10
MP quickly raises to 30, folds to
BB with a reraise to 100
Hero?

Seems like a fold to me
Easy fold. I wouldn't even think about it.
At 1-3 this looks like a fold 100% of the time to me.
You have opened utg, so should be repping a fairly strong range.
You have been 3-bet by what you describe a decent enough player, who will understand you are likely pretty strong here.
Your then getting 4bet by a player who you describe as being very good, will deffinatly realise the strength of your open and the subsequent 3bet.
If we go ahead and Costruct proper ranges in this scenario, then it is probably not the optimal choice to fold, but honestly I think we are going to end up being 50-50 at best and it's going to cost us a full buy in to find out.
Facing a cold 4bet with AKo 200BB deep and with MP uncapped? Fold. It's UTG vs MP Vs BB.
Probably shoving KK+/AKs or thereabouts and folding everything else. QQ somewhat tricky decision.
LOL easy snap fold with AK and QQ. I would lowkey hate life with KK here.
Those two hands are going to be best case scenario you'd be up against
You got a lot of info from your $10 open.
Seems like a trivial preflop fold to me. We have a card dead (plus I'm assuming possibly OMC) image and our UTG open just got cold 4bet. No one should really be getting out-of-line in this spot.

Iβd suggest that snap folding QQ isnβt as obvious as you might think. AK is pretty easy but Iβm never folding KK pre flop unless you are one of the two players in my βonly 4bets with Acesβ list.
If this guy turns out to be #3 on that list then so be it.

Vs population? Vs the average 1/3 reg? I'd say snap folding QQ vs a cold 4b is fairly obvious.

QQ is a snap fold to a cold 4bet where I play 2/3 (Sydney), if its different in your game, cool.
I'm not folding KK in this spot.
I know some good regs in my local pool who will cold 4B with AK. I see a lot of bad recs 4B or 5B jam with QQ.
Even though QQ is a slight favorite over AK, but I'd always prefer to 4B with AK than get it in with QQ at 1/3.
If a reg 4B's me when I have QQ, I just muck it. If they have AK, so be it.

Definitely paying attention to what people show up with in 3bet & 4bet pots. Over-respecting these bets without more info.
I often tank worry that with my tight image, my aces 4bet wonβt get called only to be called by two players.
Thereβs still a lot of players thinking they know what you have when you 3or4bet, and they jump in there to try & crack it. Bless them.
Iβm with you doc, folding big hands is why we win & they donβt. If you donβt get bluffed once in a while, youβre calling too much.
I have learned to laugh about getting bluffed, might even fist bump the guy. I donβt say this, but thank you for stating that youβre not a good player and revealing your bluff.
