In college you’d always have your friends you go to house parties with. You’d drink, have fun, talk to women. But there was always that one guy who somehow latched himself to the group that nobody even knew whose friend he was. That guy would get drunk, aggressive, then pick a fight with people for no reason and when he goes outside to fight them expects the group to drop everything they’re doing to follow him and fight the other guys with him

I assume you are referring to the statute that would require a 2/3 vote in the Senate to withdraw. Trump could never get 2/3, but there are several things he could do, some clearly constitutional and others perhaps constitutional, that would be close to the moral equivalent.
All that said, I am 99% sure this is just a ham-handed bluster intended to coerce NATO allies into helping open the Strait.

I think something big is gonna happen very soon. Trumps speech tonight was just a little too vanilla. I think this is misdirection again. It’s obvious that the US will have to take the Straight of Hormuz by force. The Iranians will not open it up even after the war. I’d suspect major operations will begin in the next 24/48 hours.

I was making a joke that Iran must not be willing to end the war because the US and Israel never hold up to their agreements.
Victor got it and I'm sure most everyone else did, especially if they've been reading my posts in this thread. The US has lost its trust, so there is no way to guarantee there will not be further attacks by US/Israel if Iran agrees to stop the war and let the oil flow.

But are you asserting that Trump's admin would not break a war agreement? What have they done thus far that would lead you to believe that if it's in their best interest to break a war agreement that they wouldn't do it?
And do you consider the international war crimes they have committed over the past year to be breaking a war agreement, or is that another example of renegotiating an old deal from 75+ years ago?

My original claim was the US and Israel do not hold up to their deals and Iran wants a guarantee that the US and Israel will hold up to a ceasefire.

Well doing that is a breach of some article. So is the rest of NATO going to expel the US? Or suppose Russia attacks Poland and the US refuses to come to their aid, will they vote to expel the US then? And no, I don't think any of that is actually going to happen. My point is we all know who needs who more in the geopolitical jungle.
But let's suppose Trump declares mission accomplished and pulls out and the Iranian regime still keeps the Strait closed, then what are the European states going to do? Blaming Trump for making the mess isnt going to clean the mess up. So are they going to head over there and open it up or not?
