Do WSOP Circuit Events Offer Any Freezeouts or Limited Re-Entries?

The Circuit is coming to TCH Austin in a few weeks but it looks like every event is unlimited re-entry for the first 9-13 levels. I haven't checked every single structure sheet, but the ones I had interest in were all like that.

Wondering if any circuit stops ever offer freezeouts or limit re-entries to once per flight (and not just for high-roller style events with multiple day 1 flights so it's still six buyins or whatever)

Not only are they unlimited re-entry but they usually close registration where a fresh stack is coming back to 7.5bbs and they also often play past the money and down to 5% on day 1s so that they can get people to bust after cashing and buy-in even more. There’s no shame in their cash grab game.

Their 1,700 main event is typically 1 reentry per flight

Ooof, don't the mains usually have 3-4 Day 1's? So I'd be up against deep pockets willing and able to fire 6-8 bullets in the thing? Our industry is so backwards these days. It's no longer a game of luck and skill, but also of who has the deepest pockets to fire the most bullets at something. Guess I'll stick to the cash games.

Main Events are 3 entries per flight and two flights.

Main Events are 3 entries per flight and two flights.

Just to clarify, WSOP circuit mains are 6 bullets total max, with a daily limit of either 2 or 3 buyins depending on the venue. Some stops have only two flights (Fri/Sat) with 3 bullets allowed each day. Other stops have three flights (Th/Fr/Sat) and allow 2 bullets each day. This allows the same maximum to players whether the circuit stop has 2 starting flights or 3.

And yes, sadly, this is about the closest thing to a freezeout as you'll get. I believe one of the circuit stops in Vegas last year had an actual freezeout, but I might be thinking of a different series that happened.

The closing registration thing is the real killer. They close reg while stacks are still playable enough that fresh buyins make sense, so you end up with these massive effective field sizes where half the entries are re-entries from people who punted their stack on a flip at level 8. If they capped it at one re-entry per player across the whole event I'd play way more circuit stops, but the current structure just rewards the high-variance shot-taking style and punishes anyone trying to play a technical game from the start.
