NCAA Hoops 2025-26 Season Thread: MARCH SADNESS FOR DUKE
Looks like UK is getting out of the gate with a win against vaunted Nicholls State. This on the heels of a pre-season lo
That's the first hook and hold flagrant I've seen called in the tournament and it's going to cost me the first half bet.
You get the feeling Michigan is going to dust them in the second half. Foul trouble, size, speed, finally making some 3s, UConn worn down.
Barkley: "Just play the game, man." I like it. He suspects a Michigan blowout second half I think.
All in all very lucky to push the first half bet. Michigan 0-for-3 and Yaxel doing nothing. I'm going to say 79-64 final.
Not the hottest take, but Michigan gonna run them off court 2H imo.
Jesus Karaban gets hit 10 times going up on one shot and no calls. Michigan guy gets touched and all 3 refs blow their whistles. Lol
That's game. Thk god.
Hurley looks like the Scream mask with his mouth wide open. Must have been covered some.
Teams are a combined 6 for 37 from 3. LOL.
If UNLV couldnβt do it, it ainβt happening; that said, had Flagg & Knup come back, theyβd had a real shot.
Back in the days when only one team went from a conference, it seemed the monster team ALWAYS won the tournament in conferences where there was one. No monster ever got left out of the field that I can remember.
Pretty sure NC State got left out one year in the David Thompson era but too lazy to look.

Probation. They were undefeated. The next year they took down the Walton Gang.
Come on man
Michigan winning is so boring. Boooooo.
Absolutely criminal behavior. Over 1/3 of their points on freethrows. Best team ever my ass.
Well, UConn had a shot to cut it to 1 in the last minute. None of us thought that was in the offing. Made them earn it. Congrats Meechigan and whoever ITT said early in the year it was a foregone conclusion they were so good.
Yup, they're legends. What a monkey wrench this is going to throw into team building, recruiting, portalities, coaching, etc. Just super mad wheeling and dealing ... you can win it the first year of your program. Need a good wheeler dealer, roster builder, and boosters. That's not a slam at Michigan's title at all ... just slammed open any remaining flood gates.
Congrats, glad I didnt bet Michigan with the spread. They were so impressive in the tourney though. Crushing Arizona was amazing. UConn was more respectable than I thought.
watching felt like falling face down under a lawn mower of hornets
their apparently neverending hive mentality on defence was something else to witness
and someone should check the measurements on that goal left of screen. how skewed were the 3pt stats away from that side?

Also maybe a good tale of not hiring former players to be coaches. Juwan, Hubert Davis, Penny at Memphis.
I guess Scheyer is the exception but he was groomed into the role, and it's also Duke so basically anyone can be successful if you are getting the number 1 NBA draft pick every year.
