Manfred is awful, yes. But Thursdays have always been travel days.

Sounds made up. They don't play till Sept 11-13 and I won't be on a cruise. At least I don't think I will.

That was rough. Heineman having to enter the game and then immediately have to try a very tough defensive play for the last out of the game. Might've been able to let the ball roll foul but it's game over if he makes the play.

I'll never understand why outfielders aren't much shallower on plays like the final walk off hit. If you can't throw out a runner at the plate on a one bouncer hit right at you in right field you might as well be 30 steps further in where you can catch that type of hit.
