I didn't find anything about this. Found that odd. I'm excited. Moving back to Calgary from old Saskatoon soon.

damn lucky alberta resident.

Quebec is truly cucked. No wptgold and "Ok poker" is terrible with 400-500 players maximum.

what is the current state of online poker in alberta? ontario is ontario only...

Shared liquidity with Ontario is huge. Ontario has had a decent player pool since iGaming launched there in 2022, so Alberta players will actually have real traffic to play in. Quebec getting left out again is brutal though, that province has been trying to get regulated sites in for years with nothing to show for it.

TLDR of the article?

Is it confirmed that AB is merging with ON, or just speculation?

i just saw theres a coalition of really big names trying tto bring quebec and alberta with ontario. it started 2-3months ago.

i guess in the next year we'll merge.

ya theres not a lot of information but based on Ontario doing the same thing if you live in Alberta and were ever at least competent I would brush up on your holdem skills

Well, it’s been said from pretty prominent sources. July it’s supposed to bring both together.
