THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reac
1. Don't like it at all.
2. Fair number and performs well, but I don't see him ever actually winning here.
3. Makes sense.
4. Great number.
5. Also a great number.
6. Don't like the number. We know he can compete, but his number should be like 60/1.
Since 2018 Scottie -40 at Augusta
Spoiler
Reed -39
Wouldn’t have gotten close there.
I agree Jake is a bit of a reach. His T/G game has been weak this year, but ironically it has been the best season start to his career. So I am looking/hoping for incremental improvement in driver/scoring irons to give him a fair chance.

This was a reverse jinx to counter Scott. Both seem to be rivals as their careers are very similar, although Rose has a distinct edge the past few years. Rose plays so well under pressure, something Scott seems to have lost a long time ago. 50:1 on Rose seems closer to fair.
I'd say 50/1 is definitely fair, but not when Scott is where he is at. Rose probably should be at about 50-55 and Scott 65, so I guess it evens out if you have both of them.
I have first round leader bets on both of them but neither to actually win.
i can't ever remember the PTB showing the 'behind the driver' camera angle for a player during the Honorary Starters ceremony
sure enough, they go behind Jack just now and he one bounces his drive into the fans (errr, patrons)
Brybaby looking like a 30+ handicapper out of the bunker at #11
A true evisceration of LIV players in round 1. Shocker, going to play on a completely unserious and non-competitive tour fails to keep your game sharp.
Nothing better than watching a event were none of the patrons are holding up cell phones to record a shot or scream mashed potatoes or get in the hole
gjge MacI
Did not have him quitting in the middle of a round at a major, but that was one step away from Phil hitting a moving ball.
He even got all barbered up properly, gangster style. $300 cut n’ shave down the drain there.
Also didn’t have Scottie for 14 pars & a bogey after that start.
DQ & suspension.
Did not see flip lol. He & Potgieter should withdraw, hit the local bars, maybe charter a copter to the Atlanta red light district.
Interesting first day. Great leaderboard. Course is in perfect condition, love the carnage.
that thought crossed my mind BO
was a bad look for the young bloke
