USA Goes to War Against Iran

Time for a dedicated thread to the war.

How long will it last and what will be the probable outcome?

I don't think there are any meds on the planet that could calm SRM. Astounding how someone can get so worked up over anonymous posters in a politics forum on a poker website.Coordi can be almost as bad as SRM, but Coordi at least is capable of posting something coherent once in a while.Interesting that I don't think any of the righties around here go off on profanity-laced ran

There is nothing more poignant than a well timed F bomb

Touch grass, suckbox

No I want to know how you're allowed to post here.

How are you?

lol

US seems to be playing some sort of insane game of chicken by trying to put boats in the straight. Iran has said they'll be blown up if they don't turn around. And I don't understand what the US gains from sending them in there? If the talks fail and war resumes they're going to be blown up and it seems like a completely unnecessary prevocation.

I can't help but think they want them to be attacked as a way to give the US no exit path to greater war.

You mean like a, what's the word now, a conspiracy?

Impossible. Too many people would talk.

Iran agreed to open the Strait if the US and Israel stopped bombing them while they worked on peace deal. The US is just showing everyone it's safe.

Opening the straight to shipping not to enemy warships.

We have to hope that Melania's unexpected attempt to de-Epstein herself doesn't mean there are huge revelations about to come out about the Trumps, because there's little doubt that he's more than capable of creating a pretext for nuking Iran as a distraction.

I ran has no legal claim over the Strait. It's international waters so anyone can go through. I guess Iran could attempt to attack them there or anywhere else in the world for that matter but that would be in violation of the ceasefire, which the US at least is abiding by.

Classic technique that they love to parrot.

A: "Allow me to calmly explain a horrendous take, such as brown people being naturally inferior and deserving to die."

B: "What the **** is wrong with you?"

A: "Whoa, whoa. No need to use profanity. I'm just talking, here. Why are you being so emotional?"

I think you have (unintentionally) mischaracterized/misunderstood my position.

I think "horrendous takes" like 'brown people are inferior and need to die' should not be allowed here at all.

I think showing emotion is fine. But screaming profanities in a rant on an almost daily basis is a different kettle of squid entirely imo.

In other words, showing genuine emotion is a wonderful thing; throwing a temper-tantrum not so much imo.

Mongo/elway: rapes people

Suckbox: believes Sandy hook is a false flag. Stans the rapist

Lagtight: well, at least they don’t swear

Birds of a feather

1. Like yourself, I have mocked and ridiculed Mongo/Elway many times.

2. I don't agree that Sandy Hook was a false-flag, but not sure why it shouldn't be discussed in an appropriate thread.

3. I think swearing for effect at least arguably has its place. But one profanity-laced rant/temper-tantrum after another shows a clear lack of self control imo.

4. Please don't forget to shoot me a PM when you're in town for our coffee date!

Hey go **** yourself.

If you're calling me a potential serial it's probably projection you ****ing sack of ****. How are you allowed to post here again? Your posts are literally pure garbage and you've never said one meaningful thing in this forum.

SRM's posts almost invariably say more about his immaturity and emotional-fragility than it does about the folks he's criticizing.

I'll discuss that with him on my coffee date with him if/when he comes down to San Clemente.

I don't disagree with you. But the operative caveat is 'well-timed.' Overuse diminishes the effect.

And unlike SRM, you have a sense of humor.

It's Omani and Iranian territorial waters (note that Oman never acts fascist by trying to close it), but because of its importance to world trade it is considered subject to the law of freedom of navigation. After all, Britain or France could close the Dover Strait, or demand extortionate tolls, which would cause a lot of trouble, but as civilised nations they never do, and it wouldn't even occur to them. The kneejerk sympathy of US 'liberals' for the Islamo-fascist regime in Iran is deeply unsurprising.

Here's the thing - across 2p2 people mostly enjoy SRM's posting. Nobody, absolutely nobody, enjoys your posting.

Almost certainly false.

How do you explain that many of my posts receive "Likes"?

That said, I suspect that many more folks like SRM's posting more than they like mine.

And a poll sometime backed showed that Elton John's 'Candle in the Wind" was the favorite song of more people than any other song. Not sure that proves that "Candle in the Wind" is a better song than "Hey Jude" or "Thriller" or "Man in the Mirror."

SRM is pure garbage. His posts have zero redeeming value. Him raging because his sports team loses is really enjoyable for people?

Eh I kinda like him.

I’m not sure if I missed a past version of his account that is irredeemable but his posts are mostly fine to somewhat amusing (except when he goes β€œTHIS!!!!!”).
