As only a few posts later pointed out the difference between confidence and arrogance.
Him 3D printing one of his clubs is just a perfect example of arrogance. Why would you do that instead of using clubs produced by a manufacturer that has spent millions upon millions of dollars in R&D to produce the best club they can?
He also sucks with his irons, so you would think he would actually work on that, but clearly he isn't as smart as he portrays himself to the public.
For the game he talks, he hasn't backed it up. Obviously he is very good, but his results are basically the same as Jason Day.
As for the tournament, I was pleased to see Rory make this compelling tomorrow even though all my guys sucked so bad today. So I put a few bucks on Lowry tomorrow. That'd be pretty cool if Rory dons the jacket on him tomorrow

There's always been golfers who love tinkering with their clubs. Milling wedges, lead tape, weights, bounce edges, lie angels, Vijay's 7 wood bent 7 degrees open. Pro golfers are constantly chasing profection and love tinkering. Bryson is just a golf nerd that likes to talk a lot to about it. Golf is hard and it's easy to criticize when things don't go well, but Bryson has been one of the best and most exciting players on the planet for a few years and barring injury will be for years to come.

If it's someone you like, they're confident. If you don't like them, they're arrogant. That's the difference between the two. Rory is one of the most arrogant pricks on tour but people slurp it up.
