I talked with a supervisor on Tuesday so they will have a leaderboard for tournaments and the winner will get a main event seat .So that is the promo for tournaments.

But still a lot of people are not happy with the rake and price increase and on top of that they skip some levels now and shortened the first 8 levels on Sunday tournament . Less play for more money .

Excellent question. I reached out to the gaming board to inquire about "promo funds" raked from cash games. Cash game promo drop was used to fund "free" poker tournament seats that were given to players who played in the tournament. Does not make sense to me for cash game promo drop to go to a tournament participant who has paid nothing towards the cash game promo drop. Just my 2 cents.

I can't find the circuit event on the Wsop Live app or find results anywhere. Anyone know what's up with this or where to look?

From what I understand Illinois being the crappiest state in the union didn't approve the use of the WSOPLive app so they are doing it old school style. I played in the first event.
