Did I play this wrong? Live 2/2 Game
Hi guys, first off I want to apologize as I'm recalling this hand from memory so the exact pre-flop action is a bit fuzzy, but the turn decision has been bothering me all day. I'm looking for some feedback on whether I overplayed this or if it's just a standard spot.
Game: Live PLO
Effective Stacks: ~$2500 (for both of us)
Hero is OOP (likely SB or BB)
Villain is IP (In Position)
Pre-Flop:
Hero is dealt: Ad Kd Jh Jc
Hero raises (assume a standard open/3-bet). Villain calls.
Flop ($300): 9d 7d X (I don't recall third card)
Hero: Bets $300 (Pot)
Villain: Calls
Turn ($900): 10x
Hero: Bets $900 (Pot)
Villain: Shoves All-In
Hero: Calls
Showdown:
Villain shows: K-8-6-4 (No diamonds, open-ended straight draw on flop)
My Thoughts/Questions:
Turn Play: The 10 on the turn gives me an overpair and a double-gutshot (any 8 or Q gives me a straight). However, the board is getting very "wet." Is potting the turn here too high-variance?
Checking the Turn: Looking back, should I have checked the turn to control the pot size or potentially check/fold to a shove?
Villain's Call: Villain called a full pot bet on the flop with just an open-ender. Was my flop sizing okay, or did I set myself up for a difficult turn by making the pot so large?
I've been losing sleep over whether I should have played this differently or if I was simply committed once the turn hit. Any advice on the line taken would be appreciated!

How did we get to $300 in the pot pf? An 8 on the river doesnβt give you a straight.
Just a tip: if you don’t remember the details, make them up. Instead of saying maybe raise maybe call, give specifics of what likely happened. And give us a third flop card, just say 2x or whatever.
Also don’t see how the pot got to 300 pre without a 4bet.
Turn is a range check for a card that is bad for the preflop aggressor.
