NFL Offseason 2026
it's the most wonderful time of the year for pretend GMs - the NFL Offseason!
Sure the games are fun, but the 7 months of
Will Anderson 3/150-134 seems like insane inflation, but actually probably isn't. Huge win for his team to get such a short extension. He is 24...given that the 2 yrs is on top of the 2 yrs he has left it means he'll be under contract for 5 more....but will prolly re-up after either 3 or 4....when he'll be 27 or 28 an most likely in his prime
IMO, means that the next top tier QB who signs is going to get close to $70m per
Dexter Lawrence to Cincy for the 10th pick.
Yoooooooo
Wat
I would love to hear how the bungles, who are ass at extending anyone of consequence, decided this was a good idea
Feels like a lose lose trade unless the giants knock that pick out of the ****ing park. 9ers tried to pull this **** with Buckner and it turned into a total bust
Lawrence is very good
I reckon they are:feel under pressure to keep Joe and feel the need to do something
Lawrence being very good isn’t the problem, trading for a guy in a contract dispute as the cheapest franchise in the history of football is very much a problem
The Bengals are true button clickers. No process, no money, just vibes and hoping Joe can save them.
not sure about that heels
after sleeping on it, i'm pro this deal. and it's really more than just the deal when you look at the big picture and what his may means for the franchise ... Mike Brown is still alive but his hands are now off the wheel. they took the keys away from grandpa
and we all now know that indeed, hell does sometimes freeze over
If the bungles are willing to give Lawrence his money this is a ****ing great deal for them
I question whether this will happen

If that’s the case, then it would indeed be good news for the org.
And the quickest way to improve a bad defense is to invest in the DLine.
That said, pick 10 is insanely valuable, even in a relatively weak class. Especially when you have to give a large extension on top.
I’m not saying Dexter isn’t worth it, but he also likely won’t be elite by the end of the extension they give him, if they make it happen.
The Bengals have a lot more immediate work to do to make sure this move pays off to be contending for a SB. The question is, do they have the ability to do it?
Oh boy, 1 year $28 mil added for 2028. Cant wait for Dexter to hold out next summer.

Win now mode is activated. Tobin said that DL was a focus.
This has been a huge offseason for a bad D that only needs to be average for the Bengals to be a legit contender. Iβd say with all the additions on D, average is very attainable. And the entire offense is back from last year.
Getting the best NT in the game for the 10 pick in a weak draft where youβll be getting whatever defender is left over after 9 picks is straight theft.
Giants got fleeced again.
And yβall gotta get off the tired Bengals are cheap BS. They made Burrow the highest paid QB when he signed his extension. Same with Chase when he extended. Higgins is the highest paid WR2 anywhere. They gave Hendrickson an extra $15M last year and he still whined his ass off all year long. And now giving Sexy Dexy an extra year at $28M. The cheap narrative is old and tired - get some new material.
Well that went literally exactly how I would have expected
Big lol when the bungles flip him for a second in the offseason

nice poast
i'm hoping CIN is able to trade back on day 2 to obtain more 2026 draft assets . if not, hoping they pick defense in Round 2 and a swing tackle in Round 3. something like:
at pick #41: Jacob Rodriquez, LB, Texas Tech (or) Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina
at pick #72: Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern
Lig do you really think Lawrence is gonna be extended?
You’re my barometer on this

he is extended. he's contracted w CIN for the next 3 seasons

the man is a double-team magnet, yet:

Murphy and Shemar will have some free runways every game w the attention Sexy Dexy draws
i have to give Tobin and the PTB a ton of credit here

Hard to call them cheap when they overpaid for Bojo Mafe and the corpse of Jonathan Allen
about the Nigerian, please
his name is Boye Mafe and he contributed in somewhat incrementally meaningful ways to a super bowl winning team
Yes, sorry that was a weird typo
PC police out in force.
Giants will probably wind up with two of BA OL RB S CB, so maybe win win trade?
Wompwompalo, on news nobody wants him, considering retirement
Good night [strike]sweet prince[/strike] you worthless ****ing **********
At least Trent back!
I’m so mad right now
