Moderation Questions
The last iteration of the moderation discussion thread was a complete disaster. Numerous attempts to keep it on topic fa
There are many reasons not to have a dog off-leash at an outdoor wedding that have nothing to do with concerns that the dog will bite a guest. I grew up with dogs. I've never been bitten by a dog. I can't really imagine being afraid of a dog. But I definitely can imagine a dog jumping in a mudhole and then putting his muddy paws all over me. Some people aren't going to be
LB has made in crystal clear that he doesn't care about other people. As long as his dog is allowed to run amok, he's happy.
Is now the time to make the big reveal that I let my dogs off leash at the park even when theyβre not allowed to be?
I just find it amusing that LB thought he was trolling me but the gag is getting old
Same here. But that might be because I've never been near an un-caged mountain lion.
Yes. All the other dog sitters are still in high school for at least another month.
Makes sense.
Not surprised to see you have your mutt sprawled out in the middle of the floor.
I'll bet if someone inadvertently kicked your dog or stepped on a paw, you'd lose your chit and live the rest of your life being oblivious to the fact that you're the one at fault.
THIS!!!
Because of the perspective of the photo, it looks like that tiger might weigh 800 lbs. I don't think tigers typically get that big. I'm not saying it's shopped. I'm saying that it might be a bit of unintentional forced perspective, sort of like when a fisherman holds the fish out toward the camera.
You yourself posted that your dog isnβt great around kids (or something to that effect), and then you let the dog loose around kids. You obviously want controversy in your life for whatever reason. Weird.
Not being great means they won't be able to pet her not that she's going to eat them.
Oh hi guys. I'm a little late to the party. I have been drinking and playing poker. I do like tigers. What is occurring with the tigers?
Did a tiger eat luckbox? That would be sad.
I don't understand the whole "wow they could have tripped over her"... like people are routinely walking around not paying attention to where they're walking, and whose fault that would be in such a scenario.
Actually, it would not be all that sad.
I'm sorry if someone trips over a dog that is laying in the middle of a large space and clearly visible to everyone then it is the fault of the person not looking where they are walking.
Aren't you supposed to be a Republican? I think you've lived in California for too long. How about a little personal responsibility?

Well of course? The tiger is ten feet long and most of the way inside the room while TH is standing at the back. But the tiger is still that big. Maybe I donβt understand.

Huh? I didn't say it should be ILLEGAL for your dog to lay on the floor. Some of us have some vision and/or mobility issues. I assume you wouldn't be upset if some 200 lb. guy accidently stepped on your dog's head.

I would because wtf watch where you're walking dumbass
I really don't get it
You're not usually this dense. Did you read the part in my post about some folks having mobility and/or vision issues?
Blind people shouldn't be out walking around when people are setting up for a party.
But I can assure you that if I saw someone fumbling around with a seeing eye pole and my dog was there I would get her to move
