He has been lately. The thing is that the 3 of Reaves/Doncic/Lebron is hard to maximize all at once. If you lose one of them, it's not the biggest loss. But nobody else on the Lakers does what Smart does. For the same reason Ayton and Hayes are really important. You need both of them otherwise you get stuck using Lebron as the big or having to use Kléber. But when you lose one of Reaves/Doncic/Lebron the other 2 can easily play the ball more and guys like Kennard and Hachimura can get a little more action and it's not such a big deal.
Appreciate the sentiment, but the Hawks haven’t won anything yet. Every game’s come right down to the end. I expect that to continue in the rest of the games.
Kuminga apparently is good enough to close playoff games for the Hawks, but he wasn't good enough to play steady minutes for Steve Kerr, no matter how many players on the Warriors were hurt.
Kerr is trash with player development
If I'm a Detroit fan, I'm not feeling great. This hasn't been a case of Detroit getting good shots and just missing them. Detroit has had a tougher time getting good shots than Orlando and has been very sloppy.
Kerr is good with shitty player (but are willing to try hard) development,
Kerr is not good with high end player development.
Clippers are going to "win" the lottery which will go to OKC, they'll draft Dybantsa and trade JDub for draftpicks.
