Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♥ T♦
fold, Hero raises to 5 BB, BTN raises to 20 BB, fold, fold, [color=red]Hero
ive seen the villain squeeze 3bet from the BB with K5 once and he has been betting almost any hand he has seen flop with, sometimes folding on later streets.
so, 4bet? call? fold?
if im 4betting im committed with a medium hand, if im calling im oop vs an agro and praying that an A,K or Q wont show up and im not loving a low flop.

Why the 5BB open preflop ? It's so big you force your opponents to play a very tight range. Maybe not BTN who's a "whale", but he's not the only player still in the hand.
Calling is the worst option, especially without position. The pot is so big already you need to decide between shove or fold. A non allin 4bet would make sense if you think you can induce them doing a silly mistake like shoving Q9o, but we don't have this read yet.
Villain's 3bet stat isn't out of line so I wouldn't be so quick to assume that he's light here. Also the fact that he 4x 3bet what was already a large 5bb open is additional evidence that he's actually strong here. When any villain at these stakes sticks 20bb in preflop alarm bells should be going off in your head. Whales are allowed to get dealt JJ+ too you know.
If you're going to proceed then I think it's a jam cos otherwise you're OOP with a hand that's often going to be in an awkward spot with an SPR of 2.
I'd probably fold this though.
I'm a relative newb, and this kind of scenario can be befuddling. TT is a very good hand, and the fact that we've seen Villain 3bet wide is reason to discount his hand. But I think Sprout has it spot on. One thing I might humbly add is to keep in mind that poker is a LONG game. To fold a hand like TT OOP vs what at first glance lloks like a questionable 3bet is going to be part of it. Good luck!
