I think string is my favorite.

- Has nothing to do with welding.
- Has nothing to do with ice.
- If we still do have a Titanic word, it's the strongest candidate imo (the band that plays as the ship sinks is mostly or all string instruments)

Desk was the other word I thought too and it does hit welding better. It is a fair bit weaker for fridge tho.
